Bellator will be returning to the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma in October for Bellator 184 and a bantamweight bout has been booked for the fight card as Joe Taimanglo will meet Leandro Higo.
Multiple sources confirmed the fight booking to The MMA Report on Wednesday and a featherweight bout between Pat Curran and John Teixeira is also expected to take place on this fight card.
Bellator 184 will take place on October 6 and will be headlined by a title fight as Eduardo Dantas will defend the bantamweight title against Darrion Caldwell.
Taimanglo (23-7-1) had his fourth fight winning streak snapped in December at Bellator 167 as he lost a decision against Caldwell. Since entering Bellator in 2013, Taimanglo has gone 6-3 and three of those victories have come by stoppage. Higo (17-3) lost his Bellator debut earlier this year when he lost a split decision against Dantas at Bellator 177. The defeat snapped an eight fight winning streak and ten of his seventeen wins have come by submission.
