I imagine you've taken a few years off some fighters' lives yourself.
He should have just been himself. You could relate to the JBJ we've seen over the past few months. Then last night he fights incredibly. DC storms out of the cage (crying) at which point JBJ gives DC the screw face and dismissively waves him off. Then he goes back to Good Credit Jones (circa 2012) and blows DC for 10 minutes. Respectfully.

I don'y remember him doing it in the past. I actually don't remember him thanking any of his family last night.
If he'd just said 'Fuck DC, I'm the best in the world. I've heard a jacked white boy wants to fight me, well I'm a jacked black man, and I've retired one boy tonight, I'll happily retire another in a few months. Bring it on.' Mic drop, walks out of the octagon, and to 1.5mil buys against Lesnar.

The only 2 corrections I'd have are that Brock hasn't said anything about fighting anyone as far as I'm aware, and it will do 2 million+ buys.
In total of my total wins as ammy and pro combined I stopped atleast 10 or more ppl with elbows.. they are the best tool in closer quarters a strong wrestler can have and they save your hands potential abuse.. good elbows are more dangerous than any other strike imho.. they require less movement, sneaky power and they are a natural fluent strike if done right...Ive fractured a bunch of ppls orbitals with them and they lump and cut ppl fast..and in Jon's case he's deadly with them on his feet as well.. he uses his range better than anybody and knows when he's in closer range that his arms are too long to generate power and has mastered elbows and the of angles they can catch you from..That overall body attack he was using against Daniel set up that high kick and caught him reaching for a body kick.. the most amazing thing about it was that he done it going backwards and that is very hard to do.
Agreed, but his mom passed away a couple months ago. I was expecting him to mention that, but can understand why he wouldn't have.
Pretty sure he said he'd like to fight Jones once it got floated. That's good enough.
I thought the call out was perfect and really liked when he decided to go for the sincere route and say all the good stuff about DC.
All that reminded me of the old Jones, the Jones I used to be a fan of. I don't understand why ppl want him to be a full heel and turn into a dick when he can be respectful and genuine, which he's possible of being.
Leading up to the fight week, that's how he was, pretty respectful to DC and I believe sincere Jones will be way more loved by more fans the heel version.
dedinitely made me a Jones fan again.
Of course a Jones that acts nice will be more loved by fans. Won't necessarily translate into more buys. Work with what you've got, and Jones is never going to be the golden boy.
I don't understand that logic. If people love it, of course they'll buy more. Do you think it's all the Conor haters that are purchasing his PPV?
Besides, he's call out was good. Everyone who's aware of what's going on understood. If Brock and Jones are signed to fight, automatically Brock's WWE fans are going to tune in so I don't get how changing his way of call out or being a heel would have made a difference in that much more buying in this scenario.

You do have an argument there but still think its a different scenario. The way Floyd plays the heel is always well planned and strategic and he established his persona and confirmed many times it's the best route for him to make the most money.
There is no clear way of confirming Jones sold more when he was a heel or a good guy and Jones can't decide which way he wants to go for most part.
Ppl say he should be himself but I think he can still be himself and still be the nice guy. No matter who u are, u still wear some kind of mask dealing with different facets of life. We don't even know 100% some of the nice guys are actually a real nice guy or thats just how they appear on TV

People don't see him as a nice guy. They might like him anyway, but they don't see a guy who ran away from the scene of an accident, where he broke a pregnant woman's arm, as a nice guy. That ship has sailed, regardless of what he says in the octagon. Which is why he should play into it.
to me, this entire week, Jones was being the nice guy and it seemed like he got lots and lots of love from the fans. He won me over, (i was probably no.1 Jon Jones hater, where leading up to this fight I turned around) I think nice Jon Jones is much more promising and will be much more loved and much more supported.
More than anything he seems to enjoy being the nice guy a lot. He seems very happy, too happy, almost like a fairy.
It was very similar to the first fight in that dc looked very tired in the third round and dittent do a lot and looked tired in the third.....he should be commended for bringing the fight even though he was tired and defeated..…he's a good egg
