He just said that in Helwani's podcast. He also said that after watching 214, he got an urge of coming back.
@CutmanMatt Know anyone who would be interested?

He already lost to Cormier twice, I don't think anyone wants to watch a third fight.I was going to start a thread on him when i saw, for no reason, that he was going to be on Ariel........he needs to fight Cormier to determine the number 1 contender.....see ya Antonio......
No he doesn't, that's not the way it works in the UFC.I was going to start a thread on him when i saw, for no reason, that he was going to be on Ariel........he needs to fight Cormier to determine the number 1 contender.....see ya Antonio......
He said he'd only comeback for Jones. He already lost to Cormier twice, I don't think anyone wants to watch a third fight.
Is he going to try to ko jones and then give up if he's not successful? No he doesn't, that's not the way it works in the UFC.
Possibly, but that's neither here nor there. Is he going to try to ko jones and then give up if he's not successful?
That's exactly what he's done in every weight class he's competed in.Is he going to try to ko jones and then give up if he's not successful?
I still remember when he felt it was best not to trade with a 170 lbs dan hardy........he took him down.....That's exactly what he's done in every weight class he's competed in.
Jones would take him down and maul him. If I were Anthony, I would look long and hard at what Bellator has to offer. Like he said, business is business. He said he'd only comeback for Jones.
I don't think Bellator would offer him the type of money a (single) fight against Jones would generate, but that's not to say Viacom couldn't afford to if that's what they wanted. I think everyone knows by now that the blueprint to beating Rumble is taking him down, but even Cormier had to get hit a few times in the process. DC weathered the storm, but others haven't faired as well.Jones would take him down and maul him. If I were Anthony, I would look long and hard at what Bellator has to offer. Like he said, business is business.
I don't think he gets Jones right away, but I don't think this is why.Rumble won't get Jones right away. He is as dangerous as any fighter in the UFC. The UFC wouldn't dare match him up with Jones knowing that he could land a KO and then walk away again. He will need to prove he doesn't have one foot out the door before he gets to fight for a title.
