That was my DUI night. Not proud of it, but it happened, I paid my fines, spent 10 lovely days in Cook County's finest correctional facility. By no means condoning such activity, but I learned my lesson.
That's the important part. You made a mistake and you learned from it.

It'd be funnier if that was really me. I do actually go caving for work, so I guess it's partially accurate. I need to stage a real photo like this. Lots of cave formations are phallic, so I have plenty of opportunities for this kind of photo.

Are you a geologist?

I think we've had this conversation before.
Possibly...

If I make a career move, what kinda dough am I looking at?
Depends on which field and location (pay can vary pretty wildly). Oil is king with regard to pay structure, but I've done well in the environmental field. Big companies are great to work for to gain experience, but I've been better off since branching out and doing my own thing.

I'd like to make between 10-15 million a year.
If you can solve this problem, I think you'll be on your way to that monetary goal :)

Environmental assessment.
If that's the right answer? Lol.
Lol. Based on your response, it sounds like she does Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments. Is she relatively new to her career? That's a common entry level position for geologists coming out of college.

No, she actually was a higher up at her old company, to the point where she got let go because she was the highest paid employee there and they needed to downsize.
She took some time off and waiting for her non-compete to finish, and she just recently started her own firm.

Edit : lol I said hugest.

Ah, gotcha. She's doing higher end work than what I guessed above. Sucks that she was laid off, but very cool that she has her own thing going now. I did pretty much the same thing - worked for a big company for 10 years and then me and a colleague started our own company. Best of luck to her with her firm, it can be a pain in the ass sometimes, but it was a great move for me.

Just came back to this thread and saw a bunch of my pics were gone/expired. I tried to edit the original post but can't, anyone know why? Do edits stop working after a certain amount of time?
