It has everything to do with Trump's presidency. You can't compartmentalize these things as individual incidents. Our broken ass healthcare law was the catalyst that pushed the crazy fuck to try to kill the Republican legislators that are trying to fix it.
I'm not following your logic here.

I'm trying to pick apart your partisan embellishment. You don't see how the guy that almost killed Steve Scalise and that idiot in the Dodge that did kill someone are related?
Oh. I understand your point now. I think we are misunderstanding each other. You are talking about the worst thing that happened while Trump has been president. I'm talking about Trump personally, meaning that in a presidency filled with embarrassing blunders and illustrations of his stupidity, his villifying of the "alt-left" (whatever that means) protestors in order to defend neo nazi/white nationalists is the lowest he's sunk.

You're refusing to acknowledge the radical leftist element, and you're blaming Trump for defending Neo-Nazis when he did nothing of the sort.

This goes a lot deeper than statues and healthcare. There's a deep ideological split in America that's being acted out by young, insecure idealogues with no identity. Dangerous stuff.

Forget it man. I'm done. Life is too short. I'm literally sitting by a pool looking at my phone, arguing politics with someone who clearly sees the world in a completely different way than I do.

I'm sitting here at a desk staring at an endless pile of shit to be taken care of. Might also help explain our respective attitudes. ;)

It's a weird world. I do my own thing, stateless and ok with it. Have a good one

On perhaps the worst day of a presidency that has been nothing but a shit show, why the fuck are we talking about the failed Democratic candidate? Hey if Clinton broke laws prosecute her (I don't know anything about it), I've got no problem with that. But what the fuck does it have to do with the fucking corrupt mad man that is President right now? Talk about it all you want but don't pretend it is the most pressing news in American politics and everything is going great.
Do you really expect hannity to talk about that?

Republicans are trying to remove healthcare from millions of people. One of those to be affected decided to take things into his own hands and shoot one of the Republicans trying to kill him/family member.

You mean the guy that described himself as 'David Duke without the baggage'? Yeah, the Republican party has no links to White Supremacy.

The Affordable Care Act was a fraud. The fact that you're championing it while it circles the drain indicates to me that your emotions are clouding your good judgement.

Richard Spencer? He didn't murder anyone. He's a provocateur who speaks only for a confused group of insecure young adults. I'm comparing political violence to political violence. And you're still playing partisan...

Oh, Scalise is David Duke without the baggage.

Right. Evil white man taking away the oppressed people's healthcare? Is that your argument?

I'm not championing it. I'm stating a fact. Their repeal bill was going to take healthcare from millions of people. That is sentencing a large number of people to death, it will make people unhappy. I'm not sure how you think this is emotions clouding judgement.

No, the guy who got shot described himself as 'David Duke without the baggage'. I don't know about you, but I would never describe myself as a White Supremacist but without the baggage.

I'm not sure how that's an argument. That's a fact of what he was trying to do. Maybe you don't see that as evil, but that says more about you than me.

Because you've sided with the poor American losing their subsidized healthcare while ignoring the hardworking American who is losing his subsidizing healthcare.

No, the guy who got shot described himself as 'David Duke without the baggage'. I don't know about you, but I would never describe myself as a White Supremacist but without the baggage.
I'm not going to defend anything white nationalist from Scalise, because I don't identify as such, but you can't murder someone whose legislation you oppose because you inferred unjust intent.

Almost feels like you're trying to justify the guy's rampage.

^ Guy's there to talk about the signing of a new VA bill, and the grubby press hounds him about Nazis for the entire Q&A. What a joke. Has to let them know he's Jewish-American toward the end, as if it had any relevance.

Our media is worthless. I heard one of them shout to Trump yesterday, "Do you support the Confederacy?"

What timeline have we even shifted to?
