Trump Takes Heat After Controversial Press Conference: Tuesday afternoon, President Trump went off the rails during his infrastructure press conference — effectively supporting the Unite The Right rally in Charlottesville that ended in one death at the hands of a white supremacist.

The comments were criticized by Republican leadership such as Speaker Paul Ryan and RNC chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel, and was applauded by white supremacists.


Trump abruptly ends manufacturing council after CEOs disband strategic and policy forum
Top executives have broken with President Donald Trump.

In a private phone call late Wednesday morning, CEOs who were part of a strategic council to Trump agreed to disband the group and condemn Trump's confrontational response to a violent white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

"There really was nothing to debate," said one member of the Strategic and Policy Forum who described the president's fiery Tuesday news conference as a "tripwire."


Shortly after CNBC and others broke the news that the council was disbanding, Trump took to Twitter to say he was ending that forum and another featuring manufacturing leaders. By the time Trump made his statement, several executives had already left the manufacturing group this week.

Despite my confusion, acting like Amazon lost a shit ton of money because of Trump's tweet is a bit silly.

Haha. My bad bro.
There's been some chatter about Amazon v Wal-Mart in the stock circles. So it's possible that's why my brain misfired.
