Lyoto Machida vs. Derek Brunson will be the main event for UFC São Paulo Oct. 28

UFC São Paulo, scheduled for October 28 at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium, will feature Lyoto Machida in the main event. The "Dragon", who will return to serve after a year and a half of suspension for doping , will face Derek Brunson at the middleweight, according to Combate.com on Thursday, with sources close to the organization....

Machida is 39, hasn't fought in 2 years, and has been finished in 3 or his last 4 fights. This announcement coupled with Brown vs Sanchez and Silva vs Gastelum, etc., makes it seem like the UFC has put all of its 2017 eggs in the boxing basket.
