There is a procedure in place so let's remind ourselves that it's easy to criticize and see what comes of all this. We don't have to like the guy but let's not go spreading negativity, if he's guilty then he'll get what's coming to him and if it's a mix up then we can see him continue to compete.

I rated optimistic because I doubt we see him compete for a couple of years. Will be hard to recover his career if found guilty. He'll never fight for a title again in the UFC.

Upon hearing the news, Cormier briefly spoke to MMAFighting.com exclusively about the news:

“It's hard to find words to describe how I'm feeling right now,” Cormier said. “I'm disappointed to hear the news. It's very emotional.

“We as athletes are entitled to due process, and I will refrain from saying much more until I know exactly what happened.

“In my mind, on July 29, I competed and I lost. I thought Jon Jones was the better man that day. I don't know what to think anymore. I can’t believe we are going through all of this again. We will see what happens next.

His coaches and people surrounding him are supposed to have his back in these circumstances. The UFC isn't trying to fuck up their money when they only have one true superstar.
