I wish you could rake through all of my Jones posts. I have rooted for him to win fights, but I'm very reasonable when it comes to his other issues. I said we can't prove that the dick pill excuse is a lie. You took that as me saying that it was definitely true. I said we don't know that he was on cocaine during the hit and run. You then said I was acting like a lawyer, and that we are free to assume things about him because of his past.

But my post was to point out that you came in to call people biased, while yourself exhibiting your own clear bias. That's pretty decisive.

Take this for what it's worth but I have heard rumors and talks from people in the fight game that if you're getting busted in this day in age, your methods of cheating are in the stone age and you need to get with the times.

Basically everyone is cheating, garnering the system and Jones and team may have had a slight misjudgment in error which caused the failure.

They're all on steroids.

I just listened to an interesting interview with Matt serra. Serra said jones has only fought one other time since usada, and that was against osp. Perhaps he was advised to to layoff the sauce since the random testing wasnt worth the risk. In that fight he looked like total shit, so it is possible he thought he needed substances to be on top, and therefore started taking them again for the Cormier fight. There are plenty of fighters who need the juice to perform at the top of the food chain . He was playing devil's advocate.

People have claimed ring rust for the osp fight, but where was that ring rust for the Cormier fight? Interesting theory.

I'll bet he didn't like feeling mortal in the OSP fight one bit, and decided right after to get back on the PED bus. It's clear all fighters will benefit from PED's, some more than others---my thought is, somebody already gifted will stand to benefit all the more. If you add sick strength to all the gifts he naturally has, that makes for one fucking hard to beat fighter.

The UFC seems to be on the way of a ped scandal..I see a lot of promoted fighters clearly on the gear, they should tread very carefully

I'm not sure. As a fighter, he's one of my favorite to watch, ever. As a person, especially if this doesn't get proven to be a massive mistake (which is unlikely in my opinion), he's ran out of chances with me.

I mostly watch fights unbiased now(except shogun fights...mancrush etc..)...I stopped betting so I could enjoy a more unbiased view of the matches

I do love conors in-ring style, so unique and so Jeet Kune Do...he is outside the box and I love it...respect the game

Floyd has every defensive tool in the book and at one time had the fastest reflexes north of Roy Jones Jr.

I expect a decision victory...floyd carries conor and the ride off into the sunset...I do give conor a 1 in 5 chance to land one on the old feller and possibly shock the world.

I really don't think Conor would participate in a fixed fight. Call it naiveté but I actually think he wants the glory here, and I also believe that he really believes he will win.

I do agree that the most likely outcome is a Floyd decision, but that Conor could catch him and end it. I'm 100% team McGregor in terms of who I'm rooting for, but I'm trying to be realistic about my expectations.

I got the sense that BJ left because he was away from Hawaii for longer than he expected, since his fights got delayed so many times. I could be wrong though. I don't know if I've ever seen him comment on it.
