How many of the 73% have as much influence and eyes/ears on their words compared to Snoop
Not many I imagine. He's just saying goofy shit about something everyone was saying goofy shit about. Which was essentially goofy shit to begin with. Yes, he's important apparently, but are you expecting less? More? Its all a circus anyways these days sadly.

While I'm slightly bothered that Snoop hasn't seen enough fights as I thought or just flat out isn't as respectful as I think he should for someone who "should" know that the guys he's calling bitches could turn him into a bitch easy, I am more bothered that higher ups in UFC's organization pay money to someone like this.

Kind of a hate the game not the player. Snoop is the player getting paid for his uncensored unfiltered opinion, fair game but who the fook thinks it's good to pay him to mock your companies fighters?

He's mocking Conor's ability to box. What's there to be so bent out of shape about?

I'm okay with big uppin Floyd, saying things like how Floyd is a master at boxing and how it takes years to be at that level, etc....

Going out of your way to say, "you're a bitch", that's not constructive and just a comment out of malice.

It just doesn't add up to me. Snoop has been "cool" for years, since before UFC blew up and was ever on cable. What makes mma fans gravitate towards Snoop is that Snoop comes off as a fellow combat sports fan. Most sport fans with some more knowledge than the normal casual fan, especially older fans, don't go out of their way to belittle an athlete who competes in a sport they prefer to watch. Yet here is Snoop, someone who has watched more than just a couple fights, who has hung out with mma fighters, calling one a bitch. I feel the video is self explanatory and I'm kind of surprised you can't see how mma fans would be upset with Snoop on that.

Besides, it's not like Conor butt flopped or ran, or coward in a corner. He fought like a man. Nothing the way Conor fought resembled "bitch" to me.

Fair point. Thought the outrage was over he himself saying those things, rather than what you referred to.

Because it's in the context of a boxing match he had no business fighting in.

I also don't care if Snoop decides to light someone up because of their cooking abilities.

Maybe the Irish guy should defend his belt...
Has literally nothing to do with this, but very much agree.

Completely off topic, but had a chuckle at Dana yelling "reigning, defending" lightweight champion.

Gentlemen, we are emphasizing a statement made by Snoop Dogg, whom I recall is a joke. What he said under censors is almost completely incomprehensible, along with it being uncensored.

Is he employed by the UFC? Sure, but the UFC is by far the least professional. Fighters learning they are stripped on Twitter, Shogun having to say he never heard of match with Teixeira after Dana said he ducked him, and a president who says fuck all what he wants about the fighters. Be it patheticly overhyping certain ones (including McGregor) or devauling them signifcantly (saying how MM vs Borg isnt gonna bring in a dime)

Some idiot saying some stupid shit about an unrelated boxing match should be viewed as what it is. An ignorant idiot saying a bunch of ignorant insight. I wish the UFC had a more legitimate reputation when it comes to these things, so I could be right on the hate with y'all. Hell, wish MMA was represented by a company which had a much better respect for such a great sport, but its a damn circus now, and this is the least offensive thing said.

For me personally, and the little I have listened to the snoopcast (just had to turn him off after a while), it sounded more like listening to a super casual fan. I know he's supposedly into mma, but he didn't come off as sounding like someone who could carry on much of a real conversation about mma with any member of tmmac, much less Urijah Faber.

So it feels like he's an outsider who doesn't care talking crap about something we care about. (Like you can make fun of your little brother, but no one else is allowed.) But that feeling may not be justified - idk enough about snoop's mma-related background, but in any case, I don't begrudge a fan being a fan, or having an opinion, or going on a rant about something, as lame and foul as it is. Idk.

In the context of being a "commentator" he shouldnt be calling fighters a bitch. Thats the only point of view. Name one other commentator or ufc employee that calls fighters bitches (conor,dc) and talks shit about fighters on dwcs?

Theres no reason to associate with him imo im pretty sure theres a better celebrity thats popular with the same demographic

Every fighter on the roster call each other bitches and talk shit about one another. A lot of those fighters are also commentators.

Not rappers though right I think you made my point for me. You dont hear the timekeeper/the urine collector/the ring girls/the refs/beer guys/audio or video calling fighters bitches. Just the fighters do that and im cool with that. Snoop is a poser that acts tough and hes taking it far here

Most of those people don't work for the UFC. Shit Dana white buries fighters worse than that.

By saying McGregor is a motherfucker who brought a butter knife to a gang fight? And N word n word n word n word wheres the party at? Who's going to even take this seriously? What I just summarized from his repsonse would make anyone think this man is an idiot.

We are focussing on some asinine rapper saying some standard fan response, but not outraging on Hendricks ducking a GSP paid steroid test or a DC 206.2 weigh in. Maybe if the previous 2 shennigans made a difference, I'd give more than 0.5 shits that Snoop Dogg of all people called McGregor a mother fucker
