I was in a bar in Tallahassee for game 7 (when the Red Sox destroyed the Yankees). The bar was packed for what was probably the best 7-game series of the past 20 years.

I doubt many people there were from Boston or New York, but it turned a crowd of neutral fans into Red Sox fans.

The Yankees are an easy team to dislike...
