I had to laugh while watching Rockhold (who might be the saltiest man in combat sports) rant and rave about how GSP should drop out of the Bisping fight so Luke could take it.

His reasoning was that GSP didn't belong and would get destroyed. Destroyed... kinda like what happened to you, Luke? How could GSP possibly do worse against Bisping than Luke did a year ago?

Now that Jones has been proven to be a steroid cheat, as has Anderson Silva, GSP has to sit atop the GOAT discussion. He ruled a division for 5 years, destroying all competitors. Luke ruled for about 6 months, when he was knocked unconscious by a man who had taken the fight on 10 days notice.

I don't think Rockhold has the cred to attack a man of GSP's stature like he did. I thought it was out of line and one of the most unsportsmanlike moments I've seen in recent years.

Didn't Gsp quit before usada and claim there was a huge problem he couldn't deal with moving forward?

No he was a big proponent of random drug testing, he wanted to see a clean sport and believed that Hendricks was juiced up. And looking at Johny's performances and the disappearance of his power almost overnight when USADA came... I don't think he was far off base!

In all seriousness, I didn't listen to Luke say anything, but I imagine he probably said it with an arrogant face and tone which I just don't like.

Which, to me, is unsportsmanlike

Luke can't say shit. He did nothing to think he deserves a rematch.

At least this fight is actually for a belt and not a catch weight. It won't hold up the division any more than an injury to a division champ would

Luke will always get the gasface from me.

I don't even like Bisping but I really enjoyed seeing Luke get put out by him.

I don't think it was out of line. Despite rooting for bisping, I considered and still consider rockhold to be the more dominant fighter of the two

And unlike many, I think bisping is a bad match up for pierre

So I think his indirect point of being more deserving of a title shot than gsp from a competitive standpoint is true.

But at the very least, it was poorly worded. And if he seriously wants gsp to pull out, then he is living in lala land.

...he didn't seem all there tho...exhausted and concussed maybe...

To me it looked like Luke was planting the seed for the future GSP fight. Bisping wins, everyone knows it's time for the rubber match but if GSP wins, that's title and a money fight in one. Win win for Luke.

But he so fuckin douche I can't stand every word coming out of his mouth.

Ha ha I think you guys are holding back and should tell us how you really feel about Luke... having said that I think GSP gets destroyed by Bisping. He's too small and Bisping has better hands and excellent take down defense... Not to mention his 4 year lay off.

God Luke is a great fighter but he has zero charisma. I wasn't even sure what the fuck he was talking about until hours later.

But he's wasting his time. That title shot against GSP belongs to Conor. Always has been.

I'm a big conor fan, but I'd be surprised if he takes a fight vs gsp, at least without a tenfold compensation change.

If he does tho, I'd be an even bigger fan. Hopefully you are right

I don't have anything against Luke, honestly I always was a fan of him as a fighter but he's just been acting way too salty.

Now he's saying Bisping has the worst title reign in UFC history.

And I'm like... dude... at least Bisping has defended his belt. You got KTFO in your first defense by a guy who took the fight on 10 days notice.
