Edmond Tarverdyan wants one more fight for Ronda Rousey — against Cris Cyborg

On Monday, Tarverdyan told Ariel Helwani on the 400th episode of The MMA Hour that Cyborg would be the ideal foe for a Rousey comeback effort — and a winnable fight for the former UFC women’s bantamweight champion.

“That’s the one,” Tarverdyan said. “I want that fight. When I trained Ronda, I know Ronda could beat Cyborg. I know that. Cyborg is too slow.”

Rousey has not fought since a 48-second knockout loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 last December. Prior to that, she lost for the first time in MMA, a knockout loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193 in 2015.

Was thinking the same. This fight could've happened long ago if they both wanted it to. Getting in the cage with Cyborg now on a 2 fight losing KO streak will be a brutal challenge on her confidence. Holly and Amanda both made her look bad, now Edmond wants her to go up in weightand face Cyborg? Wow. Holly showed how to win using speed and counters, Amanada showed us how it's done with forward pressure. Ronda gets brutally KOd in the first if Edmond gets his way.
