Everybody loves a good rematch or trilogy. Hell, some of the greatest fights of all time have been in rematches or apart of trilogies. The build-up to a good rivalry is often times unparalleled and a promoter's dream come true. Like catching lightning in a bottle, finding two fighters who's styles clash in the most exciting of ways isn't always as easy as we would expect. But when it happens, there's nothing else quite like it in combat sports. So let's take a look at some of the most compelling rematches in MMA that you didn't quite know were so compelling. (and no, Frankie Edgar vs Gray Maynard 4 is not mentioned outside of this sentence... Admit it though, you thought it would be didn't you?)

not the biggest tyron fan. so when i see him fight, it ruins the vibe of my night bc in the back of my head i cant stop the voices in my head from imitating him from past interviews. great fighter, but i prefer cards without him

I totally get it... He's gotten progressively more boring as he's been champion. Might not be entirely his fault but the fact that he admittedly acknowledges it without changing things doesn't help.

Regardless, I think that Would be a great rematch & I would probably have Kelvin winning it. Thought he should have won the first time actually.

He has gotten boring but has earned respect from ppl like me who thought he couldn't beat wonder boy.
Wonder boy and Maia were both difficult to figure out but he figured out a way to beat them both.

You're right but to be fair, his fights with Wonderboy were arguably losses for him/both draws & Maia was an easy match up for him. I think his ability to survive 10 rounds with Wonderboy is the most impressive part about his run.
