Whoever can provide (regularly or not) me with a bag of weed and not involve anyone in my wife’s network of friends will be handsomely rewarded
Come to Cali. I'll give you a bunch but we gotta go to the Comedy Store when Burr's there.

I had a phase. Smoked almost everyday for a while.
Then had an epiphany.
I was wasting my time and my brain.
Had no motivation or very little... I felt kinda dull if not antisocial.

Smoking pot everyday removed the special aura that pot used to have. Being stoned by yourself sucks and is boring honestly.

Nowadays I only smoke up with friends. It's pretty fun.

Like someone who really loved it, true daily etc?

I remember Graham Hancock, that alternative history theorist guy, of whom I am a fan, gave some lectures and podcasts about how he used to smoke every day for like 20 years, how he wrote all his best work on weed, but then later in life he kicked the habit clean, and will never go back again, etc

He even called Mary Jane 'The Green Bitch'!

It was interesting, but as I watched him talk I just kept thinking to myself;

'Nah, ...you're lying'.

I remember him sharing the story from JRE. Grahm said he went for Ayhauska trip with the intention of quitting weed becuz he started having trust issues with his wife or something.
After the trip, he went home and first thing he did was hit his volcanoe and said taste really nasty so he stayed off of it for little bit.
Some time later, he was on JRE again and when Joe offered him a joint, he toked. Motherfucker didn't quit. He's still toking up today.

I started smoking weed every day when I was in 7th grade, took a couple months off when I went to basic training and AIT for the Army National Guard, then continued every day until I was 28. I stopped 45 days before I started flight school. It’s been 22 years since smoking. I have to retire at 65 and will start right back up. I miss it.

I turn 38 soon and have quit since 4/20 for my job. I started when I was 12 and I've smoked heavily since I got my drivers license at 16 (I had a car and a hookup). I dropped out and smoked myself stupid for too long. Ran a grow show for the better part of a decade.

I was a daily habitual smoker until I got busted at work about three years ago. Ended up quitting for 11.5 months and fell off of the wagon again. It's been a struggle. I've spent the last year upgrading my schooling so I can get a degree and I've noticed some issues with concentration.

I still think about it every day but I know that I can't just partake a little. I'll backslide to where I'm wake and baking, sneaking tokes at break time, and putting my employment at risk.

@Song2 pm me with the results, I’m going to do an experiment.

I have passed 2 financial exams over the last 2 months and have been drinking, so not clear minded at all. The pass rates are circa 50%-60%.

I’m going to pass this next one but want to prove a point about weed not impacting my lifestyle.

If my wife is now a member in hiding here and reads this, fuck off as I passed both tests you micro managing nagging typical wife.....

This sounds like a lot of people growing out of it, not quitting
I often wonder about this on the wire.

I smoked every single day for 12 years then I stopped....

I still smoke on weekends sometimes though so no not what OP is looking for. but once my leftover stash ends I won't bother doing all the chore to get more. but then again it's so much and I smoke so little that it might never end.

Does it get more potent after time?

A month or so back I found a single serve wine that I got as a present for my ex. It expired early in 2016 so I drank it. Tasted like a rabid dogs rear bullet hole. But I don't drink wine anyway so I know no better

doesn't wine "ages like wine"? it expires??

I don't think weed gets more potent. it might get rotten at some point who knows.

That's what I figured. Didn't have no scum floating on it or anything. But it was one of single serve things they sell at gas station. Got it for the ex one time and she said fuck off so it sat in fridge couple years

Am I wrong in thinking there are only two logical reasons to stop smoking?

1) You grow out of it for whatever reason (find it boring, no friends to smoke with, want to be more productive, etc)
2) you are trying to find a better job / have a job that does regular or random drug tests

I currently am off the THC for #2 as I'm still trying to start a career fresh out of graduating college.. it's hard out here finding a "real" job. I often times find myself wishing I could spark one up and can't wait until I can again

My current go to.

Cheap battery and preloaded cartridge bought from the dispensary. I could take a big toke and you wouldn't smell anything.
I used to rip those at work non stop and sometimes even with visine my eyes would be bloodshot from the amount of hits I took... always had to avoid my bosses for the rest of the shift when that happened
