Bookshelf of a former fatty!

I won't show all of the Archie comics and romance novels.
Jesus! Instead of reading all those books you probably would have been better off going for a walk or a bike ride. :D

When I walk into a bar, the first thing I look for is to see if they have any Rhinegeist tap handles. They are easy to spot.
I was drinking the Truth last night. That beer doesn't fuck around.

I got one of these tall cans sitting in my fridge, any good?
Yeh. I don't like weirdo beers but I ran out and this one works just fine.

My brother discovered it and it's pretty much all he buys now

You've changed man.
Yeah, I'm all growns up bud. My neighbor got me to try some different beers by bringing them over free lol. Now I'm trying all different kinds. Just can't do IPA's...too hoppy. Or dark shit like Guinness.

I enjoy Honey Brown, Dos Equis Amber & Lager, Modelo, Fat Tire, Kona Longboard, etc. Going to try some Sam Adams Oktoberfest soon.

Life is too short to drink cheap beer.
Life's too short to pretend shitty beer tastes good. I'm not saying all craft beer sucks, but a lot of it is absolutely terrible. Thank God it's starting to go away.

Many craft beers taste like shit and many are delicious. Key is to find out what kind of beers you like.

Many people dont like hoppy IPA's and for a while they seemed to represent the craft beer 'movement', so many people were turned off.

I think more often than not, show me a craft pale ale or pilsner and I will enjoy them more than your best known large name brand.

This sums it up entirely. Their insistence that the more hops, the better is why the market is shrinking.

I personally haven't come across one that's so much better it's worth the price. Accessibility also hurts them. On a craft beer related note I fucking hate tall cans with a passion, whoever thought those were a good idea is an asshole.

tall cans started being used because they preserve the beer better than bottles and made trading cans online easier this also what lead to the development of the "crowler" which is a 32 oz can version of a regular 64 oz glass growler. if I recall correctly oskar blues invented the crowler a crowler does the same thing a 16 oz can does to preserve the beer.

You sure about that? I can't ever remember tall cans not existing. This includes pre-internet times. I'm pretty sure they were invented so people could get drunk faster.

of course they existed I was referring specifically to their application in the craft beer world
