If it's 3, Bisping, McGregor and maybe Anderson makes sense, regardless of how he does against Bisping.

If it's 4 or more and he loses to Bisping and Bisping retires as he's planning, does he stay at MW and enter some kind of tournament to face Whittaker and crown a new champ? Does he move back down to WW to chase Woodley and maybe McGregor?

If it's 4 and he beats Bisping, does he face Whittaker next? Somehow that seems unlikely.

He probably has the champ clause still, right? If he becomes a champ, it's an auto-extension?

I'm still not sure Bisping happens.
If it does, it depends on like everything what's next. More how he looks than outcome.
If he looks good and wins, maybe Mcgregor.
If he loses bad, Nate Diaz?
If he loses good, Nick Diaz II?

Do you know what Whittaker and Bispings walk around weight is? In cage?
I might be wrong but im sure the other week Bisping said on his podcast he weighs 210 in cage and that he had been walking around at like 230-235 before training camp.

Not sure about Whittaker hes smaller than Bisping tho.

Because he's never fought someone before who could have knocked him out?
Its just a terrible matchup for GSP. Whittakers TDD is great we say that against Romero and Jacare. Whittakers striking would be way too much for GSP. Seriously dont know how GSP would win that fight.

Whatever it is I’m not going to respect GSP until he moves back to WW for legit challenge. He just some dude who wants to come back for some cash.

Not that Bisping isn’t a legit challenge but I don’t like how GSP cutting in front of other MW for what? This is not money fight at mw, Anderson is.

Bigger than I thought.

I read this a while back from Georges.

“Right now, when I used to fight at 170, I was always walking around 185, 186. Now, when I wake up in the morning, I’m 198. Almost 200 pounds. I’m much bigger than I was,” St-Pierre said.

I think GSP is gonna be too small at MW he aint gonna be able to get the takedowns and the reach could be a problem too.

Dana said GSP must defend his belt if he wins it before considering any other fight.

Additionally, Conor must defend his belt before jumping a weight class again.

If GSP beats Bisping and Whittaker... and McGregor beats Ferguson, GSP vs Conor is ripe for the picking.

No way does he go back to WW.

It's tough to gauge with the long lay off. If he's anywhere near his prime he'll be technically better than most MWs and would be able to take down most. Kelvin G isn't near GSP level and he's proving to be relatively competitive so far when thought he'd get smoked.

It's tough to bet against Georges because he's just so good (at least was so good) at implementing his game plan on whoever. We all know what he wants to do but very few are able to stop it.
