I might mention that getting caught is extremely difficult with a proper carbon scrubber. Word of mouth is what fucks people typically. Anyone you tell multiplies your chances of being caught by 100%.

Not sure a carbon scrubber would be as big of concern if we can legally grow 4 plants per adult. I'd assume the only way to get punched would be a snitch or police coming across them accidentally through a separate investigation.
The carbon scrubber, if growing indoors, in your house, is a must. If you are growing in a detached structure you probably wouldn't care that it smells like what is inside, but neighbors might, or it could trigger undesirable interest/rippers. If you go over limit, I would highly advise it as well. You need to vent out, so the carbon scrubber is placed in the vent with the hoods so that smell does not escape. As long as you have negative pressure within the room or tent, smell within the structure will be negligable.

Cola shots

This is my plant that was basically a throw away. It is an in ground the white x stardawg. It sustained root damage in transplanting and was pathetic since day one to boot. Since it was so much smaller than the others and just looked like it was on life support, I nicknamed it "the tard." Well momma, the tard done good.

This is my in ground triangle kush x stardawg.

In ground the white x stardawg. One of my dogs actually ran this plant over when running around and being a bastard about a week ago. I don't know if it happened at night when I let them out or in the morning when I was showering, but I came out after my shower and found the stalk broken and the plant laying on its side. I propped it up with a stake, lathered the exposed flesh with cloning gel, wrapped the broken stalk tightly with tape and hoped for the best. It self fused/grafted the wound and it appears to be doing fine. I've done some grafting making Frankenstein plants before, so I just did he same process here.

Potted the white x triangle kush. 2 weeks into flush (9.5 weeks total flowering) like all of my other potted plants.

Potted the white x stardawg. This has a nice sweet and kush aroma. It is starting to show those nice "autumn" colors due to the flush.

Potted the white x stardawg. This pheno is the sweetest smelling of the group. I can't put my finger on the smell, but it is extremely sweet smelling. It is equally as sticky as the previous plant/picture, but doesn't have as much pronounced kush to the smell, much more sweet.

Potted the white x stsrdawg. This pheno has no sweetness to the smell, it is 70% kush odor, then 30% jet fuel. When you rub these buds they are not sticky, they are greasy as fuck. This is also showing the nice "autumn" colors from the flush. This cola has damage from caterpillars, as can be seen by the brown 90% from the top. I'm going to start taking these down tomorrow to minimize loss from the caterpillars. If I can keep the damage under 90%, this will be a massive success since I've lost entire plants to them before. Captain Jack's Dead Bug Brew (spinosad) impressed the shit out of me.

Is anybody here on acmpr?
The Canadian gov for legal growing

If so, who are you with and what strains have you had success with?

The basement is nearly done so it's time to get my new setup all ordered and start trying out some legal strains
I'm ACMPR legal, but unlicensed. I can apply to grow up to 10 plants, but everything I've learned about the process of getting legal permission to grow discouraged me: brain-dead civil servants with no idea what they were doing leading to stupidly long wait times and
frustration.

I simply started growing. I stay within the theoretical 10 plant limit, and according to an attorney friend, even in the extremely unlikely event of getting busted and even less likely event of being charged, my ACMPR status means a judge would only see it as an administrative issue, not a criminal one.

As for starter materials, due to stupid regulations, most of the LPs have had to start their breeding programs from scratch. You would be far better served ordering from an established breeder or retailer. I can provide a few Canada based links for seeds if you are interested and the powers that be don't mind.

Dude it took me 8 months to finally get my licence
It's beyond stupid

I have a couple buddies that hook me up with clones and I'm still going to have atleast 1 mom that isn't from the L.P. but want to try a couple of the legal strains out to see how they do

most lp are charging insane prices for clones, best one I've found is thcbiomed, 20bux per clone which is still a bit expensive but much cheaper than the other Lp's
Family owned company in kelowna

I'm legal for 25 plants and should be designated grower for my dad in a few months which will add another 15
Hoping to start with a 5 plant perpetual grow

I'm looking forward to hearing how they do for you. Sensi Star is the only strain I recognize in that list. It's supposed to be good, but I've only ever tried it as little petrified LP 'buds'.

I went on a seed buying spree for a while last year, and at my current rate of harvesting one plant every 2 weeks+/-, even without cloning, I'm set for years. :)

Anybody use the Dr. Dabber Boost before?
Haven't used the boost but the same product is half the price on dhgate and they are pretty good
The boost is a rebranded g9, they are the exact same
They have some problems just like the boost does, but really they are problems that can happen with any electronic, such as not charging anymore

Make damn sure if you get the boost that it is the newest version because the old version used Teflon on the top which can burn and cause Teflon flu

Here's a great review on it
It is extremely handy for a dabber on the go

Ya I really only knew delahaze from my times in Amsterdam and sensi star, I looked the other two up on leafly and both have great reviews and info says they grow really nice for indoor setups

I think all 4 of these strains are from paradise seeds so I think they have a deal with them
I know they actually go to seed banks and growers to get their strains so you'r basically getting your clone from the actual producer

Everything I've read says it will be 4 plants per home, not per adult in the home, under legal rec use. That's why ACMPR will still be your best bet, even after legalization, for a decent home grow.
When I got my card, I thought "10 plants sounds like a huge number", but as Gay For Longo @Gay for Longo , mentioned, with moms, clones, plants in veg and in flower, those 10 are used up quickly.

Of course you could just keep popping an endless succession of feminized beans, ymmv.

You may be right on seed sources for LP's. I know there have been changes in the last year or so and rules have tightened up.

I've seen complaints that the original LPs have a huge advantage over newer ones because the OGs had access to a way wider array of genetic sources than the newbs.

The older lps are straight ripping people off
The starting price is insane and most only sell a couple strains
Tweed I've heard has a decent selection but the price is again insane

These guys are pretty new and very small
Like I said, it's a family owne business whereas the rest are companies

I've found the big lps try to hide who they get their seeds from by changing names and shit like that

I trimmed for the afternoon and knocked down 2 plants today. Tedious as fuck, and my back is not happy, but it's necessary.

My house smells like Bigfoot's dick right now.

As a hobby grower, I have a love/hate relationship with trimming.
I hate the tedium, but in my mind that's when my plant becomes my weed, so it's also kinda cool.

There are plenty of parts to the process that aren't fun, but the entire cycle has necessities. If you put the time into geminating seeds or cloning, you should put the time in for giving them proper conditions. You dial in nutrients, check ec and ph, monitor runoff etc... since that time an effort has been put in, no need to stop there. Proper flush for optimal product and no half assing trimming job at the end. It's a pride of ownership thing, and it pissed me off when lazy hippies neglect steps in the process, since everything is worth it in the end (unless caterpillars fuck you - then you just want to cry).

That sounded cunty. I should have just said that time and attention is spent in every step, so that should apply to the last step as well.

This is the sweet smelling pheno. When i started clipping it the sweet smell faded pretty quickly into a heavy kush aroma. This bitch took a LONG time to trim.
