Is black belt a requirement at EBI?

No, I know purple belts that have beaten legit world champion black belts in EBI

I`m convinced that these can can beat any Gracie Red Belts or Red & Black belts.

Seeing as how you have to be at least in your late 40's/early 50's to be a coral belt, and at least in your 60's to be a red belt, it's probably likely that is the case.
