None of it will be a waste if this I long-term. I am just giving suggestions that would save you from reworking/redesigning in the future, since you will eventually upgrade anyway (unless you decide after a few grows that it isn't worth the time/effort/hassle/stress).
Ya this is long term
I'm only 35 but will be on medical marijuana for the rest of my life and would much rather grow my own and being able to do it legally, I'm not turning back lol

I'm also growing for my father who is a medical patient as well

Edit: should add I'm disabled so I don't work, so this is going to give me something to do which I'm really looking forward to for mental health reasons

I have never smoked weed ever. Up until a few years ago I had no idea what it even smelled like. I always thought those people smelled that way because they pooped their pants.

This was the white x stardawg #1. It was the plant with the most crystals, and also the smallest/shortest (potted) plant. 93 grams/3.3oz total.

This was the white x stardawg #3. This was the greases one, and also the plant that smelled the kushiest. 105 grams/3.7oz total.

All in all I am very pleased that these turned out so well. Since they were started from seed so kate, I honestly thought I'd end up with 1-2 ounce plants. As time went on I thought I'd give them artifical light to extend veg, so I didn't end up triggering flower until August 12th. The few extra weeks of veg certainly paid off.

This is the chamber tent for veg, the one I got is the 160, a bit larger
The separating panel can be removed if I want later and it will actually be flipped so the clone section is on the top not bottom

This has basically what I got for flower but he upgraded the ballist to the one I wanted to make up for the fan and ducting already being in the price
Would you change the reflector?
And I was wrong it's 6'1 Not 6'6 :(

I would always go with the largest reflector you can get (as long as it is quality). You are only going with one light, for now, so you need the usable footprint to be as large as possible.

Thanks. It was nice to finally grow out these crosses I made. The funniest part was I hadn't even planned on growing this year. A friend of mine's brother just moved to the state and is living with her until he gets stable. His birthday was in early july. She threw a party for him and I started these seeds in advance to give him as a gift. The day before the party I thought I'd ask her permission since it is her house and her property (she is one of my best friends). She was not comfortable with it since outdoor marijuana is illegal, so then I just had these seedlings and couldn't bring myself to throwing them away. So now I am texting her pics weekly and saying she isn't getting shit, but check this out. Lol

I am having a difficult time picturing the veg tent setup, but 2 t5's for clones doesn't seem necessary. If you get a 4' t5 with 6 or 8 bulb setup, you're golden. I know nothing about light strips, but the same type of t5 for mothers would be just fine.

I would personally go with a flowering tent no shorter than 8 feet. The hood will take up a significant portion of soace, then you need the clearance between it and the plants. Plenty of varieties stretch 2-3 times their height once flowering is triggered. You may want to add a yoyo system to the light as well since it is so much easier for adjusting height. Also I would personally go with a bigger hood/reflector like the the magnum xxxl 3rd gen.

Is the ph tester a pen with ppm and ec as well? If not, get the combo instead, or at least another pen with ppm and ec.

Are you going to be using tap water or an RO system for water?

Keep some baking soda around in case you add too much ph down and need to bring the ph up. Keep in mind a little goes a long way.
For the RO system, would something like this be ok?
Olympia Water Systems 5-Stage Under-Sink Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System with 50 GPD Membrane-OROS-50 - The Home Depot

Other question
Do you think the veg tent works better as the chamber or would it work better as just a 5x5x6 with the 300w CFL up top and have 2 4' led on the sides and just have it open with mom', clones and veg?

Any RO system will work, but the system you mention doesn't give you a sufficient time for filling reserviors, if you are monitoring it. I went with a system that was 1000 gpd, so I wouldn't need to take an hour to fill a 5 gallon bucket. My system was the evolution rated at 1000 gpd. It is more expensive now, but it was $575 at the time I purchased. Evolution-RO1000 keep in mind that your requirements aren't the same as mine though.

I'm not sure I understand the question. For clones and moms, I don't feel like side lighting us necessary at all. Panda film, or the reflective tin foil looking material in grow tents is sufficient for side lighting.

If you look at the pic of the veg tent I posted it is in 3 chambers
Do you think it would be better if I just had it open and 1 space with all 3 together

Yes. For veg everything is on the same light schedule, except for moms when you're juicing them, or when they are dormant. The additional light for the moms, when it isn't direct will be no problem.

On top of that, if you bonsai the moms, then you are left with tons of space.
Ok so go with the open tent instead of chambered and then keep the 300 above the vegging plants and have 2 4' led above the mom's or I could do the 300 cfl in the middle with an LED on either side of it up top or just the cfl

You can go with whatever light setup you choose, just make sure to keep it close to your clones (not burning the, and within reason, but limit stretch, since you have height issues). I have only vegged with t5's, so I can't comment on cfl, strips, or led. Whatever height they are rated, go with the minimum, unless plants show signs of burningl

I'm thinking and I might just stay with the same tent and ill just have the divider going covering the clone area and then the rest will be open for moms and veg and i can keep the exact setup i picked out

Depending on how "holy grail" your mom's are, you could also ditch that idea and just clone from clone. This would reduce plant count and it would be years before you notice any degradation of qyality. I personally have only cherished mothers of clone only strains, beause finding that next awesome pheno in a batch of seeds is all too easy, and I also like variety.

I've thought about that but a couple or the strains I know I'm going to be keeping. 1 is a high cbd strain and the other is one of my favorites, So it makes sense to keep mom's for them
The other 2 I am going to switching every once and while because they will be getting more of a variety as time goes on
