I don't say them often, but I admit to saying 1, 3 and 4. Number 2 should be "widjadinja". I've never heard of 5.

When I get out in Appalachia - like where Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia share a border - it gets really hard to understand people. It's like a completely different language if you get out in the sticks.

I think Louisiana is the worst. It's the only regional variety of North American English that I genuinely need subtitles to understand completely.

Appalachians and redneck Floridians/Georgians/Alabamans etc I can more or less get the gist of what they're saying, but Cajuns are about as bad as Scottish people for me.

Shit. I doubt it's just eastern Kentucky. It's the same down in Shawnee when we go camping. I won't lie, I enjoy the change from time to time. Seen some cool shit in Shawnee.
