The video is the aftermath. It's too much on both sides. One of the GOAT heavyweights shouldn't keep getting into fights with smaller dudes. Colby needs to stfu already. Both unlikable right now. Not funny. People may go over the line a bit, but I can't see the UFC risking giving Covington a title shot no matter who else he beats.
 
Still pissed of about the Brazil comments? Jeez, not a good look for a HW to start fights with lighter weights. If Colby was hit, he has a right to be pissed, and Werdum has proven his point all together.

A separate source told FloCombat Werdum was alleging that he didn't actually punch Covington but instead only knocked his phone out of his hand.

Werdum himself doubled down on that notion.

"This guy is really audacious," Werdum told FloCombat. "I went down with my master [Rafael Cordeiro]: 'Master, let's get a hair cut and shave the beard.' We were in the lobby, and I've never seen this guy before. When I walked he looked at me and said: 'Brazilian animals.' And I was like: 'Hey.' I slapped his phone and asked, 'What did you say?' Then, he kicked my leg, but I managed to defend. Then the guys got in the middle and had nothing left. But he kicked me, he is audacious. I could have hurt myself.

"I don't know why he insists on this mistake of speaking of the Brazilians... I didn't understand. [...] He wants media, wants to imitate Conor McGregor. He looks like ridiculous the way he does. I didn't believe when he said it. I didn't believe it. I slapped his phone and he stepped back and kicked me. Then we were arguing, and he kept shouting that Brazilians were animals.

"If I had hit him in the face, he would be in the hospital. Certainly. There was no punch, he's crazy."

Video captured by UFC lightweight Dan Hooker also suggests Werdum did not punch Covington. Rather, he hit him with a boomerang.

"The organization will conduct a full investigation to determine if the Athlete Conduct Policy was violated before taking any further action on this matter."

Ferguson and Covington are clearly trash, but people get upset about Werdum when he reacts to their shit?

He's the fucking 2nd best HW of the planet, and as men we act like he shouldn't react when some fucking midgets get up in his face? He should beat the shit out of both of them, and we should applaud him for it.

Also, Covington has started to cultivate a small fanbase of mouth-breathing dipshits that think his brainless schtick is clever, but surely even these spastics realize the difference between cutting a promo referring to Brazilians as 'filthy animals' and just randomly calling Brazilians 'filthy animals' on the street. You deserve to wake up in the hospital talking to people like that, especially if one of them can destroy you in a 1 on 1 fight.
