General I Got A Rat In The Subaru

What the fuck is going on!

I take out my daughters car seat to clean the back seat of my car, and hidden under her car seat is this! Is it a Rat? I would say it’s more likely a mouse but the hole seems too big. I lifted up the paneling in the back where the spare tire is stored and I found the nest.

The picture is taken after I already vacuumed up most of the foam and shit. Fucking goldfish crackers! The fucking Rat dragged one of my daughter’s yogurt tubes into the trunk. If my wife finds out about this she’ll never set foot in the car again. I know it’s only been in there a couple days because I had the seat out on Thursday. Jesus Christ!

I loosened up the spare tire, but I’m too scared to lift it. I hate rats. I just opened all the doors, banged the fuck out of the tire with the jack, and came inside to hope it takes off.

What if there is a Rat living in my car and it attacks me while I’m driving? Who will provide for my family?

I thought maybe squirrel, but I don’t see how a squirrel could get in. If it is a squirrel @Miami Size Queen will you take a greyhound to Toronto to help? You are half the animal whisperer that I am but it never hurts to have a back up whisperer in an emergency like this.

I heard some weird sounds in an older car I had a couple years ago. I didn’t pay much attention to it but when I was cleaning it up to sell it I found a frozen dead mouse under my drivers seat.

I think this is happening to you. It didn’t eat the seat though.

Try to lure it out with some processed cheese string.

It must be a lesbian rat if it holed up in your Subaru.

Also, there's a very good chance your car can be weitten off. Mouse and rat poop is terrible for children and pregnant women and that rodent was likely all through your vehicle. My brother had a BMW that got mice over the winter in storage and it was immediately written off by insurance.

I don’t know. Hopefully the same way he got in. I’m hoping it’s a mouse. I have a lot of mice. I just found one in my live trap this afternoon. Praying it was him.
You should learn from this. I found a huge bag of peanuts my mom gave me to a couple of days ago under my front seat. I was taking my daughter on a hike so she gave me a bag of peanuts to feed the chipmunks, birds and squirrels. The bag was chewed up. That what must have been what finally drove them over the edge to break into my car.
Guys don’t leave peanuts, and goldfish crackers in your cars.
