Earlier today Bellator MMA invested in their future as they re-signed undefeated American Top Team prospect Jordan Young and picked up undefeated welterweight Yaroslav Amosov. Shawn Bitter of MMA-Today was the first to report Young re-upping with the promotion, however FloCombat has learned from a source in Bellator that he's signed a long term contract with the California based promotion.

Young (8-0 MMA, 3-0 BMMA) is coming off an impressive first-round submission victory over Alec Hooben at Bellator 185 last month. That win marked the sixth career submission victory for the 23-year-old. Young started his career in October 2014 primarily fighting for the Iowa based Midwest Cage Championship where he captured the 185-pound championship in 2015. Earlier this year Young signed with Bellator and has picked up wins over previously undefeatedmiddleweights Chris Harris and Tim Caron.

Amosov (19-0) has mainly cut his teeth in the Russian based Tech-Krep FC promotion throughout his career. The 24-year-old has only gone the distance twice in his career and boasts eight-career wins by knockout along with nine-submission victories. "Dynamo" won the vacant Tech-Krep FC welterweight title in June 2016 where he successfully defended the belt twice. Amosov most recently defeated Nathan Oliveira by first round submission this past August at Tech-Krep FC: Prime Selection 17.

Stay tuned to FloCombat for more information as to when we'll seethese two blue chip prospects in the Bellator cage.

Not familiar with either guy but they both seem like young talented guys, which Bellator is signing a lot of.

Young announced that he was moving up to LHW. He is a solid talent. Hasn’t had much trouble in any of his fights. All his fights in Bellator have been at a CW.

I’m not familiar with the they fellow, but adding depth, especially at WW is never a bad idea.

While everyone is focused on name signings like Jack Swagger, they're quietly adding more and more young talent, like these two guys. Which is fantastic and exactly what they need.
