I've always wanted to do it, but this year I think I'm actually heading to Arizona for a week of Cactus League Baseball.

I'll do some hiking in Sedona too, but the plan is to have at least 2 days loaded with spring training activities at multiple ballparks.

SOB they aren't doing the Field of Dreams game this year. I was just thinking about buying tickets.

Something about constructing some fields for youth baseball. Probably for traveling teams so they can make money the entire summer instead of once a year.

It would be pretty cool to be a 12 yr old and travel to the Field of Dreams for a weekend round robin tournament.

I would assume MLB will return next year. It's a great event.

I did struggle
But I got gifted a position as all star team left fielder for some unknown reason for two seasons because I could understand how to catch a ball and throw people out, then decided I was better at drinking

Ran some numbers at lunch...

There have been more K's than hits in only 5 seasons.

The years?
2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Season Leaders (dating back to 1930)
  • Most Runs Per Game: 5.49 (1930)
  • Most Hits Per Game: 10.15 (1930)
  • Most HR Per Game: 1.39 (2019)
  • Most K's Per Game: 8.81 (2019)
An intelligent manager would tell his team to stop swinging for the fences. Bunt into the shift. Hit behind the runner.

ESPN and Chris Berman have ruined baseball.
