I have no comment as I made a promise a couple of years ago. Btw, I’m a Red Sox fan so it’s very hard to not say anything.

Biggest choke job of all time?

Or is that still the Cubbies blaming their collapse on Bartman?

If you haven't seen this yet - it's fantastic.

Ortiz shows us why he is a national treasure. Fantastic interviews.

Giants just signed Brewers free agent Willy Adames (SS) to a 7-yr $182m deal.

He slashed 251/331/462 last season.
The 29-year-old hit 32 dingers and 112 RBI - both career highs (7 seasons)

That is a crazy amount of money for what I would call a "good not great" player.

With the Adames news, I was curious to see what was projected for Juan Soto.

There are 5 finalists and they are fairly predictable...
Yankees, Red Sox, Blue Jays, Dodgers, Mets

Reported bids have already surpassed $700m - which probably puts him in the 10-year area and will likely surpass Shohei Ohtani's contract.

Unlike Adames, Soto is a generational talent.
The 26-year-old has a career slash of 285/421/532

One of the few players in the game who draws more walks than strikeouts.

I just ran an export from the 2024 season - and of players with at least 100 plate appearances, there were exactly 4 players who had more walks than they did strikeouts...
  • Juan Soto * 10 more walks than strikeouts (129 vs 119)
  • Mookie Betts * 4 (61 vs 57)
  • Steven Kwan * 2 (53 vs 51)
  • Kyle Tucker * 2 (56 vs 54)
