I was wondering how the reds are actually winning games for once.

Tried to catch a game today but Mother Nature did not cooperate. Hopefully will get to see the Express play later this week.

In an earlier game in the series in a tie game in the 7th, 1 out and a man on 2nd - Full count, they ruled a bullshit strikeout. Batter (again, Blake Dunn) claimed the ball nicked his glove. Not that it would have mattered as it was clearly ball 4. But the ref heard the ball hit something and originally ruled it nicked the bat. They reviewed it and there was no way possible the ball ever even came close to the bat. Call was upheld and it was a strikeout because the catcher caught the "tip". Next batter walked, so it would have been bases loaded with 1 out in a 0-0 game.
Reds broadcaster and baseball mastermind was not happy with the refs:

Reds also got sort of fucked on a non-call on obstruction last night. Both the 1st base coach and Tito got ran - I would have too - This is a new focus for MLB - no more blocking of the bags regardless if you have the ball or not.

I guess it's time to go back to the Pete Rose ways and just start shoulder-chucking anyone who gets in your way. Or come in spikes high.

I was telling my buddies when they gave him 313 mil it was a mistake, awful defensive player and to streaky as a hitter
Now he is untradeable with that contract, I would seriously look to trade him and be willing to eat a big portion of that contract
He's lazy, he publically bitched when they signed Bergman, which is looking like a home run signing, bitched again publically about trying t o help the team and moving to 1b, dudes a ego maniac headache

Dude. Bregman is a great ballplayer.
Low K, solid OBP guy. Good team player and he's got a great glove.
He doesn't have the power that Devers does, but he's definitely an upgrade.
Devers has led or tied the league in 3B errors in 7 of his 8 seasons (not counting this year as he has been strictly DH)
I'd actually question the intelligence of putting him at 1B - but I still maintain that him refusing to even try it is insanity.
