AR bullet tumbles soon as it hits anything. Has less penetration than handguns or buckshots

While you're correct to be concerned about over penetration, supposedly shotguns and handguns have higher chances of penetration than a 5.56 AR.

I prefer a shogun for home defense. First rounds buck shots, the 3 slugs, and finish off with 2 flame thrower rounds we burning this shit to ground!

Central and the hill country of Texas. Has a lot of German heritage. Shiner brewery was started by German immigrants. It's the oldest independent brewery in Texas. Damn good beer to.

To each their own. IMO pick the best weapon platform for you. I previously posted a vid (on a different forum) of various leading firearms trainers, many of whom were former Spec Ops, and they all had their personal preferences and why. The point being....what is best for me, may not be what is best for you. Doesn't mean either one of us is right or wrong.

I like the video - if you get hit with 00 or a slug it's pretty much game over man.

For me a pissed off shepherd and my HK .45 should suffice.
