I'm not saying these allegations aren't true but Roy Moore has been a controversial target for a while. I'm just surprised that, if true, this hasn't came to light already. It was a whispered secret for Harvey Weinstein for ages.

That's a conundrum for me. Why are they coming out now? If you only complain when you have an ulterior motive then I can't help but be less empathetic. If you can't get anyone to come forward it doesn't matter if people know. Is it a surprise that recently, after all the high profile examples, that women that wouldn't come forward in the past have chosen to do so now?
Yeah. Some of these sound like normal interactions. Not only that, sexual "advances" are now being lumped in with misconduct and assaults.
Louis ck said he asked permission to show his junk. Well, he said he never did it without consent. The meaning of consent will be argued also.Yeah. Some of these sound like normal interactions.
In my single days, I'd be talking to a girl in a bar and pretend I couldn't hear her or something so I'd reach my arm around her waist and pull her close, my hand flirting the boundary of lower back and her actual ass. I'd judge her interest based on her reaction. If she freely allowed herself to be pulled closer, game on. If there was some resistance - slow down cowboy. Is this assault? If it is, I'm a multiple offender.![]()
His might be a bit different because he had "power" over them. They felt like they couldn't say no without jeopardizing their careers.Louis ck said he asked permission to show his junk. Well, he said he never did it without consent. The meaning of consent will be argued also.
So are all sexual fetishes between consenting adults wrong now?
Did he have power over their careers because he was popular? Or was he signing a paycheck? His might be a bit different because he had "power" over them. They felt like they couldn't say no without jeopardizing their careers.
To clarify - I would never make a pass at a female I was in charge of. Although I've wanted to a few times.
But for CK it doesn't qualify as sexual assault. Just bad judgement. Most of the stuff being talked about recently is textbook sexual harassment in the workplace. Not assault.
I honestly don't know much about the guy.Did he have power over their careers because he was popular? Or was he signing a paycheck?
Like high school girls, if you don't do what the quarterback (or insert any popular boy here) wants then they might ostracize you from the clique?I honestly don't know much about the guy.
But from an interview I saw with him talking about the situation, it sounded like he was a highly respected member of his field and his opinions were influential on career advancements. Whether he signs the checks or not, that gives him some power over people. He failed to realize - or maybe he was fully aware - that this power could influence their decision to say "Sure, I'll watch you jerk it"
But the girl could still say "no". If that influenced his decision to recommend her for a show or something, that's sexual harassment. If he didn't let her rejection influence anything at all, no harm no foul imo.
To an extent, yeah.Like high school girls, if you don't do what the quarterback (or insert any popular boy here) wants then they might ostracize you from the clique?
Kinda like that?
Yep. It happens in many ways in life including non sexual things. It's part of life. And people learn/know this by an early age. Unless, these women have some mental challenges they need to take responsibility for their own actions. To an extent, yeah.
When it comes to Hollywood, the difference between working as a waitress and making it big often comes down to getting a chance. When that chance comes down to maybe watching some old fat bastard wack it, I guess they weigh their options. They could walk out and just bus tables for the rest of their lives, or...Yep. I've heard people say, "if you knew about it and didn't speak up then you are partly responsible."
Are these women partly responsible for the victims that followed?
OmgEven if we ignore that made up superstitions are not mitigation for sex crimes, the story is very heavily based around the fact that Joseph had a child with Mary WITHOUT fucking her. So he's morally and intellectually retarded.
It was both for Louis, but different for different people.Did he have power over their careers because he was popular? Or was he signing a paycheck?
timed perfectly to come out after it is too late to put a new candidate in.if it was such an issue why didnt it come out earlier in the campaign? This situation reeks of politics, I have to say. What curious timing.
