I'm not saying these allegations aren't true but Roy Moore has been a controversial target for a while. I'm just surprised that, if true, this hasn't came to light already.

That's a conundrum for me. Why are they coming out now? If you only complain when you have an ulterior motive then I can't help but be less empathetic.
Not only that, sexual "advances" are now being lumped in with misconduct and assaults.
Another notch in the transition of women becoming the dominate mate. They will have to become the aggressors in relationships because men will be afraid to chance any advances that may be perceived as harassment.

His might be a bit different because he had "power" over them. They felt like they couldn't say no without jeopardizing their careers.
To clarify - I would never make a pass at a female I was in charge of. Although I've wanted to a few times.
But for CK it doesn't qualify as sexual assault. Just bad judgement. Most of the stuff being talked about recently is textbook sexual harassment in the workplace.
Did he have power over their careers because he was popular? Or was he signing a paycheck?
I honestly don't know much about the guy.
But from an interview I saw with him talking about the situation, it sounded like he was a highly respected member of his field and his opinions were influential on career advancements. Whether he signs the checks or not, that gives him some power over people. He failed to realize - or maybe he was fully aware - that this power could influence their decision to say "Sure, I'll watch you jerk it"
But the girl could still say "no". If that influenced his decision to recommend her for a show or something, that's sexual harassment. If he didn't let her rejection influence anything at all, no harm no foul imo. But it's a dangerous game. Best not to shit where you eat.

Yep. It happens in many ways in life including non sexual things. It's part of life. And people learn/know this by an early age. Unless, these women have some mental challenges they need to take responsibility for their own actions.
I've heard people say, "if you knew about it and didn't speak up then you are partly responsible."

When it comes to Hollywood, the difference between working as a waitress and making it big often comes down to getting a chance. It certainly looks like many of them decided to pimp themselves out to get that big role. What I don't understand is why - after some of these women made a career of it - they didn't come forward or say something to someone. Hell, for all we know maybe they did and it was just pushed to the side.

Accuser details encounters with Moore
Nelson describes her first encounter when she was 15 years old working as a waitress at a local restaurant after school.
She said Moore, DA of Etowah County, was a regular customer where he would often pull the ends of her hair as she passed by and complimented the young girl's looks.
"I did nothing to encourage this behavior," said Nelson, adding "I did not respond to any of Mr. Moore's flirtatious behavior."
She said that at the time of the encounters she had a boyfriend and was "not interested in having a dating or sexual relationship with a man twice my age."
Nelson went on, describing another incident in which Moore signed a school yearbook of hers when she was 16.
"He wrote in my yearbook as follows: 'To a sweeter more beautiful girl, I could not say Merry Christmas, Christmas, 1977, Love, Roy Moore, Old Hickory House. Roy Moore, DA.'"
She said after the incident, Moore had offered to drive Nelson home after work, during which she alleges he forced himself on Nelson and groped her in a locked car.
"I trusted Mr. Moore because he was district attorney, I thought he was doing something nice to offer to drive me home," said Nelson.
She detailed her fighting off Moore in the car as he squeezed her neck, forcing her head onto his crotch.
