I was worried when I first saw this as when the OG purge first happened, a bunch of guys were talking shit about Alta stock tanking, but they were all quoting the wrong company named Alta.
But I did a little digging on this and it is indeed Alta Global Group Ltd that's losing their ass right now.

For 2023, they had revenue of roughly $1.5 million AUD (Australian Dollars)and $1 million USD, yet they had expenses of $20.6 million AUD & $13.9 million USD.
As of June 30, 2023 (all in AUD), the company had $7.2 million in assests, with $38.4 million in total liabilities, leaving the equity in their own company at -$31.3 million (assets have to = liabilities + equity).

I always liked him. Not a fan of Chris, for obvious reasons but even after the sale I wished Konky well. Then, I found myself duped and betrayed and now I dance on the grave of his plummetting stock. Could of sold to numerous people, but he just had to make a deal with the devil.
I have never had a reason to dislike or say anything bad about Kirik. Its a shame he sold it and its a shame in that sale he didnt make the kind of money it was worth. Though I did get the sense that he was just over it, which I dont blame him as that forum had for over a decade been a shell of its former self.

Yups he could of sold it years ago for the 100k but he was inept never interacted or addressed any of the site issues and ran it to the ground and got fleeced by some scam artist Aussies!

I mean, take a step back and consider the OG over the last couple-few years - the over-the-top trolling, the posters with multiple screennames, the blatant scamming (as in stealing money from fellow OGers) that went on there.
(And that doesn't even take into account the site running like an enormous pile of ass for months on end.)
I don't think Kirik is necessarily a bad dude, but either he completely phoned it in the last few years, or he got in totally over his head & made the conscious decision to not get the help he needed to rectify it.
And their choice of "top men" was laughable. I would say they are secret genius villains to run so much spyware through us but they probably didn't even know that much was going on. I had been running adware and antipopups for so long I had no clue there ever was so many ads. The amount of grandpas(said with love) we had was like fish in a barrel. An advertiser and scam artists' wet dream.
It was sold at 600k but the people who bought it didn’t come up with the cash to complete the deal. He (Kirik) was also offered 1 million during the TUF era but declined for more money.
Kirik’s got to be bummed. The stocks he got in the deal are blocked from sale until probably 2 or 3 years.
When it was really bad My adblocker would show like over 1000 blocked ads in a very short time. Blew me away.
I always wonder if that spyware was crypto mining.
There was a period where my laptop would sound like a jet taking off everytime I went to the site.
It all stopped after mental showed the weaknesses.
