Oh yeah, that's my absolute favorite model.
And I already have a gorgeous piece of the same Cocobolo wood here. I'll set it aside for you. (I actually went and bought a ton recently so I could saw it all up and pick the best pieces).
Of course, each hamon is unique to each blade. I do have some control of how it comes out, but a good portion is up to the steel/nature. So the hamon would be very close, but not an exact match.
This was the original CavBowie.
Ipe wood(some of if not the densest wood on the planet) and a Bronze guard.
For anyone that wants bronze, I'm always happy to use it(I absolutely love the color when paired with wood), but it does add significant cost.
It's really difficult to match 3 Bowies to each other.
It's even more difficult to match 3 of them to a previous set of 3 that were also matching while not having the previous 3 here as a reference.
And it's especially harder when you use no precision machinery of any kind.
My work will always be made by hand and eye. Fuck water jet. Fuck CNC. Fuck precision mills. Handmade means *hand* made.
Measure twice, cut once? Fuck off. Don't measure at all and make it work.

His family opens up workshops for the region to blacksmith for mental and behavioral therapy.
They told me the story about an autistic mute who hadn't spoke in 5 years.
After watching them for An hour, the little girl who had been mute for 5 years was asked the question, " Is this something you'd like to do?"
"YES" she said, as her mom broke out in tears.
These are the people that politicians call worthless mouth breathers in flyover states.
Who've never build a fucking thing in their entire lives, & have "show families" by other parents, raised by nannies & institutions.
Anyway, gotta start somewhere, and I did today.
