TWO men have arrived in Sydney on Thursday morning to face charges they allegedly sexually assaulted a baby.

The pair, both aged in their 50s, will appear in court on Thursday after being extradited from Victoria on child sex offences allegedly committed in NSW’s central west.

NSW Police allege the men sexually assaulted a 10-month-old girl at her home in Bathurst in April 2015.

Victoria Police alerted their colleagues in NSW to the alleged offences following an investigation earlier this year.

NSW Police travelled to Ivanhoe, in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, and arrested the two men on Tuesday before bringing them to Sydney.

On arrival into Sydney, the pair was taken to Mascot Police Station.

The first man was charged with two counts of sexual intercourse with a person under 10 years, as well as producing and disseminating child pornography.

The second man was charged with sexual intercourse with a person under 10 years, use of a child under 14 years to produce abusive material and other charges related to the production and distribution of child pornography.

They pair will appear at Waverley Local Court on Thursday.

Are they not allowed to show the faces of accused criminals in the media in Australia? Can they once they are proven guilty? Here in the US there are websites and newspapers literally dedicated to broadcasting mugshots, and the "perp walk" is standard news fodder/political gamesmanship- all before trial so some of the people are innocent.

I shouldnt laugh given the nature of their crimes, just so you know unlike East Asia and the US predophiles (known as rockspiders here cause they like little cracks) are unable to be housed in general population here, they cant even be housed in protective custody cause they will get killed within hours in either 100%. They are kept in "strict protection" which means no human contact unless its with guards or other pedos.

I know for a FACT that pedos are housed in Gen pop in US prisons unless they are threatened due to all the MSNBC docos on US prisons Ive seen. In fact prison gangs in the US often use pedos as their negotiators as some of them are quite manipulative and intelligent.

According to the author of "brother one cell" Cullen Thomas who spent 6 years in South Korea's prisons for smuggling weed, pedos dont catch any shit in their prisons either. Must be a north pacific thing....

Its generally because the victim is under 18 and may grow up not wanting people to know. The whole town may have known these guys were staying at the baby's home at that time and will connect the dots. If the judge makes a media suppression order even the parents of the victim cant name the perps since even they dont know what their kid may grow up wanting others to know about them.

That said someone will leak their pic over the next few days, this is a certainty.

I can relate to murderers who kill in the heat of the moment, I cant relate to men who rape women but I can relate to them being turned on by women, I can relate to someone stealing to feed their family cause id do it if it came to it but pedos ..... WTF?
