From his Instagram account:

When I look at this photo, I realize how much God strengthens me by always giving me light in my walk. On a long trip, fantastic memories of the time I played in the streets of the neighborhood where I grew up in Curitiba. Everything I’ve been through, everything I’ve built with willpower, determination and great honor. I had the privilege of putting the coat of my heart team, in a way, to give a world title to him and especially to my people. I just have to thank you all for everything, I say from my heart, I love you all who are always giving me strength. Kiss! I really love you, strength and honor to all, regardless of team, color, race, religion and sexual choice, we are all brothers. Thank you, my people! You can be sure it’s not over yet. My love and my passion for the fight are here, firm and strong. The fight continues, I will stop when GOD thinks I can not do it anymore. So who is my fan, can be sure, that soon I’m back, to the joy of those who cheer for me and to the sadness of those who don’t kkkkkk kiss

So who here wants to see him in the cage again after serving his latest drug suspension? If so, only against other aging legends? Dude turns 43 in April.

Sure, let him fight as long as he wants imo.
This goes for everyone, it's his life.
If we're talking about desire to watch him fight, heck, I'd rather see him fight than most UFC fighters.
He hasn't taken a ton of damage, I say sure.
Without a doubt he needs to because he was paid relatively poorly and wasn't frugal.
I do think however, that he uses and always has, so he should ether fight in an atmosphere with a level playing field, or be banned after he pops hot next time.
In other words, Vitor in Brazil double retirement fight.

Id love to see him fight again. Against a Vet tho. No young up and comer just trying to build his name.

That said i wouldnt be mad if he doesnt.

He will be going out on a win.
He gave it all to the sport and will already be known as a legend.

At the end of the day its up to him.
He still has the passion.
I just hope he doesnt take to much damage chasing it.

I'm the biggest Silva fan there is. Even made sure that we shared the same birth date so you know I'm serious.

But no. I don't want to see him fight anymore. Especially if he's going to be the timid version that he's shown most recently.

It's weird because besides the Weidman KO Silvia has never really gotten the piss beat out of him or taken a whole bunch of damage.

The fight continues, I will stop when GOD thinks I can not do it anymore.

(I will stop when I get busted again and UFC cuts my sweet contract)

He should fight out his contract, after whatever his suspension is, provided he doesn't piss hot again. But the "paid relatively poorly" I'm not sure I agree with. Can't cite numbers, but in his prime, he was, I believe the highest paid fighter on the roster, and rightfully so. Remember after Machida won the LHW title, he said he wanted "Anderson Silva money" and DW said then he needed to do what Silva had done?

He hasn't taken a lot of punishment throughout his career, and hasn't taken much in the past 2-3 years. Sure, if he wants to continue, go for it. Just stop doing PED's or get smarter about it.

I agree, Wild. If he feels he has a few more in him then let the man perform. He is still enjoyable to watch.
