Based on the Troma movies came Toxic crusaders, bizarrely another horror franchise for kids but if Halloween is anything to go by kids enjoy that stuff lol. The toon was pretty good I can't remember too much about it if I'm honest but there were toys to go with it. If I remember it was on a morning show to keep you watching but my memory is a bit hazy. As an adult it made me watch the movies which I really dig so I got something out of it lol. It was a good message in all honesty, it doesn't matter what you look like you can still make friends and bang hot chicks.

Batman the Animated series is possibly the best version of Batman ever created outside the comics and it is certainly one of the greatest animated series ever made. Multi award winning and highly regarded this cartoon had it all, good story, solid animation, incredible voice talent and brilliant stories.

As a kid I never missed it, I didn't have many of the toys they brought out but they were cool. Bruce Timm's design work on this cartoon was amazing. I can't recommend this show enough.

20 years later i can watch this show and still enjoy it. So we'll received that it spawned an animated movie, Mask of the Phantasm, that was released in theatres!
Not only the best version of Batman but of the Joker as well.

Plus the show's responsible for giving us Harley Quinn.

Gargoyles was a fantastic cartoon, I had reached Secondary school when it came out but all my mates were talking about it in class when we should have been working. It had a great voice cast with voices like Riker from Star Trek the next generation. The toys were Disney quality as they created the franchise and there was a Game boy game too that I remember. I watched a few on Brazillian Netflix and it still holds up much like Batman.

1981 Incredible Hulk. I was born in 81 so I must have watched repeats of this show. I remember it being awesome and Hulk just going at it and smashing, it was a nice contrast to the live action TVs series which I also loved but that had much more of a dramatic and slow build to the smashing. Plus they changed Banners name lol.

96 Hulk I was a teen and just thought it was cool and did the Hulk justice.

Dark wing Duck, Tailspin and Duck tales were all pretty popular here, the ducks seemed to get more love than the mice it seemed in Britain. We feed the ducks as kids but not so much the mice lol. Mighty ducks,Daffy Duck,Donald Duck, Count Duckula etc all had followings. Tailspin was quality viewing as a kid it was clever taking elements of the Jungle Book and re imagining it so much it made sense but didn't insult the original material.Where has that kind of imagination gone? Scrooge McDuck is still referenced here by people of a certain age when it comes to money and wanting a money pit to swim in lol as an adult I can see how unhygienic that thing was. Maybe he had all the coins sterilised he was rich enough lol.

Muppet Babies, I don't know why but even when I was really little I still felt weird watching this like it was for infants but I was one lol. I always forgot about it after the credits as I always hoped it was the Star Wars episode. It was actually a well made cartoon and fun. The muppets I didn't know that much about but Seasame Street was huge for kids in the 80's. I even got in trouble for mispronouncing things at school because of that show ha ha.
