Dude wore the same clothes for forty years for teacher picture day, Mr. Starkweather was pretty close for me. Probably one of my favorite teachers.

Had a few over the years. I remember realizing these guys are either broke or genius level penny pitchers.

Ever take a stroll through the teacher parking lot?

This is all I can add about it...

According to the National Study of Millionaires by Ramsey Solutions, teachers are ranked #3 among professions most likely to have millionaires, behind engineers (#1) and accountants (#2). This is notable because teachers typically earn modest salaries (median around $61,000), yet many still manage to build significant wealth.

Why Teachers Rank So High:

  1. Consistent Long-Term Investing: Many teachers invest steadily in retirement plans like 401(k)s and pensions.
  2. Living Below Their Means: 94% of surveyed millionaires reported living frugally.
  3. Financial Discipline: Teachers often follow structured systems and principles, which aligns with successful wealth-building habits.
  4. Job Stability: Teaching offers long-term employment and predictable income, which supports consistent saving.

Not surprised by that, most of them have summer businesses as well. I know high school math and science teachers made pretty good money back home.
