General Anyone own a Springfield Echelon?

This thing is beautiful, and from what Im reading very durable/reliable. I know Glock has been ontop forever, but theres tons of competition out there these days and IMO way better options as far as ergos, looks and trigger with equal reliability

No, but they, along with a few others have been on my radar and I will likely rent one within the next week or two. I have an old springfield xdm that I love and I was told that the echelon is basically it's replacement. Idk if that's true or not. I keep finding these guns I'm interested in and go on YouTube to see what people are saying and of course there are haters and people speaking of failures. The echelon is no different. You can find someone with a bad experience with any manufacturer so it's hard to tell which ones are going to be quality. It's what's kept me from pulling the trigger but eventually I just gotta say fuck it. People talk shit about the xdm but I've had zero problems with it.

I also just received an email saying that they've released a carry version.

most places seem to love it, but like anything you can find a lemon

honest outlaw and TFBTV beat the piss out of theirs with the "Torture Test" and they both ran flawless.

I don't have one, but Springfield has been making good guns for a long time.

I will update when I finally rent and shoot the echelon. I looked for this video and a few others that I literally saw a day or two ago and cannot find them. Reviewers having all the ammo dump out the bottom of the magazines. I was able to find this remedy video, but will continue to look for the others.

The doodoo brown isn't my thing. My P320 mk18 only came in that color and I think it's ugly as fuck. I do however agree that it is a sick looking firearm.
