His instruction is on point and he breaks down songs and techniques quite effectively, in my opinion. The only gripe I had, and in all fairness it's 100% a 'me' problem, dude is too happy and I find it disconcerting.

lol, true. I did like his series where he went through his whole lesson plan to teach himself to play left handed to show that anyone can learn.

The old Microsoft player was really useful because you could slow things down and not lose tone. Learned a lot of bluegrass runs that way.
