Anyone watch Big Brother

The worst part is they interviewed one of the show producers or runners or some shit and the dumbfuck acted like nothing was wrong.
What was the gist behind it? Did they flatly lie to the parents about what the show was, who was gonna be in charge, etc?

I know there are a lot of dirtbag parents out there, but you'd think you'd be hard pressed to find a whole slew of them dumb enough to not only sign their kid up for something so entirely sketchy, but also do it on national television.

I remember you talking about that on the old forum (Inkmaster is a guilty pleasure) - specifically how insanely overly-edited it was to produce a narrative for the episode, highlight drama, etc.
I felt bad for the artists as they put them in shitty conditions to do good work.

Like... you choose artists, have the consult on that tattoo, and are getting inked all within like an hour. And with the shooting schedule, the artists are running on like 4-6 hours of sleep and are forced to use whatever equipment (besides the tattoo guns themselves) are provided by the show (and apparently corners were cut quality wise).

Yeah, it seems they werent super forthright with the parents... but the bigger issue was just throwing kids out in extreme heat and having them fend for themselves.

It was basically a cesspool of spoiling food, piled up dishes, kids being cunts to each other... and then because of the editing, you had crazy fucks online talking shit about literal children which fucked a few of them up mentally.

Just a comedy of errors and poor decisions.

Its an interesting watch... but you'll want to murder a few people involved with the production.

That's not surprising.

You can tell some have no right being there with their skill level and seem to have been brought in solely to try & make for "good" tv.

Others you can tell start to crack from the pressure & such (*cough, cough, Sarah Miller, cough*).

Others seem just genuinely tired & frustrated at the situation rather than "things are just too intense for me".

Sarah Miller is a legit crazy person.

Fucking insanely talented though. Some of her realism stuff is amazing.

That sounds terrible. I'd imagine they were pretty dishonest with the parents about what they were gonna do or else they wouldn't have gotten anyone to volunteer.

And just reading that makes my blood boil - sounds like half the shit Ruby Franke did to her children...who (not) ironically also did a ton of fucked up shit to (her) kids for eyeballs & exposure...just on social media rather than network tv.

the surly mechanic from S1 trying to wean off coffee (caffeine) and I think tobacco continually losing it & talking shit to the women (especially the fitness trainer / krav maga instructor) was hilarious

The scientist guy was awesome with the shit he designed. Still Urban legend that season 3 was cancelled because someone died, never been able find a source for it besides forums, reddit, etc

Was just skipping around the episode and totally forgot...

At one point, one of the children drank bleach because the crew had bleach left out in bottles that looked like soda...

Fucking hell.

hahaha that dude was awesome...out there standing naked in the rain like the true hippy he was. lmao. Smart as hell, too.

No shit, really? I had never heard that about S3.

Do you remember that guy "Tick" the group encountered in S2 to help them? This was back in the early(-ish) days of FB - I found him & friended him on there when the show was still running, thinking maybe there'd be some insight to the show to be had or whatever.

There wasn't - he was just some random, regular dude. lmao

@Bushkill Blades should have done forged in fire, I understand why he didn't. Closest I got was contacted for the pilot for doomsday preppers which I declined, then had an interview for alone years later. Wish I would have got the call for that one.

that the dude that was just hanging out in the bushes like a marine sniper watching them, then made contact?

IIRC, he absolutely hates that show. lmao

lol yeah, it was something like that. He didn't start with the group - they somehow came across him a few episodes in.

Want your mind blown, he was 49 when it was filmed, dude looked like he was 70, too many shrooms and a hippy lifestyle.
lol damn - I would have NEVER guessed that.

I was sure he was at least 65+ as you said. In fact, I had it in my mind he was a retired teacher or something.
