Undisclosed pay. Sponsor money. Signing bonuses. He probably gives blowjobs too (such a nice guy)- you'd be lucky to get a reach around from Dana...

Yea, undisclosed pay, lol, Sumner Redstone hangs in the back making it rain off the books.

I can't imagine that undisclosed pay and bonuses would be as much if not more than the disclosed salaries of these low paid fighters. Also, sponsor money on a Bellator prelim fighter? Hardly worth noticing. Remember, Josh Thomson reportedly (as of the last he's said publicly) made a total of $35k in sponsorship money for a Bellator fight, and he's a big name/ex-UFC fighter/main event fighter.

Bendo made 51/51 in the UFC if I remember correctly, and now it's 75 flat. That sounds like a pay cut, unless he makes over 30k in sponsors (Reebok paid him 15k in his last fight).

Sadly, we just don't know. But any way you swing it, the claim that Bellator would pay Henderson more than the UFC would doesn't hold water yet. Sponsorships, as you all know, are not paid by the organization. It's also fruitless to speculate on back room bonuses and other undisclosed pay because we have very little frame of reference. The assumption I am going with, however, is that the UFC pays more in bonus money than Bellator. It would not make sense to pay fighters a disclosed sum of money like $1500 and then give them a few thousand after their fight, doubling or tripling their disclosed pay. The athletic commissions wouldn't like that.

Remember also that Aljo Sterling was paid around an additional 20% of his base pay as a maximum backroom/undisclosed bonus for a good performance, POTN/FOTN bonuses notwithstanding.

TLDR: UFC pays better, sorry guys. Based on what we know, that's the truth.

So you think 75k is what the UFC looked at and went "Oh, we can't match that. That's crazy talk!!"

Ben said in his 1st Bellator fight he made less in sponsors than he did via Reebok, hopefully he did better in this one...

No, I think they didn't care to.

I like Ben and Rory, but they are both in UFC divisions that are stockpiled at the top end & have multiple loses to the top guys...

Someone has to get declined.

For starters- Rory has wins over Woodley and Maia, so no. And Benson's only real losses at LW were to Pettis and RDA. Everyone's trippong over themselves to praise Nate Diaz right now- Benson owned him and would in a rematch. But that's besides the point.

If what you said was really the case, that's even worse than not willing to match a better offer. A former champion on a 2 fight winning streak, always ready to step in and save your shitty watered down cards when the inevitable happens and someone drops out with an injury. And a young, top 5 WW who was 1/2 of the best fight the UFC has ever put on and they can't get a pay raise?? F'n shameful.

He has loses to 3 of the top 5 also, hence I said 'multiple loses to the top guys'...

I will accept your retraction and apology signed, dated & notarized, in triplicate

Leslie Smith just said that she received a 25k bonus after her fight with Cyborg. Just for reference.

Honestly making 1500 isn't even worth anything at all. That is so fucked up. People including myself sometimes bug out over UFC payouts but this shit is fucked up.

Yes, because that's all we can see. I don't believe in things like undisclosed pay or locker room bonuses because I can't see them.
