...the supposed best spy in the world gets outsmarted by some random suburban soccer mom divorcee (i.e. - not some super-spy type...just a regular broad) who blackmails him out of half his stuff and cons him into working for her

Only two episodes in but it seems…different…somehow. Maybe the actors got told upfront it was the last season or something, but it’s very slow from previous seasons of this or the original show. Not really giving a shit about the Honey Chandler side plot, either.
Also the main plot is taken from the latest Bosch/Ballard novel, but played as a contemporary crime, while in the book it was a cold case.
Bella's brother shows up this season to terrorise the zombies.
Finished this up today and it's not bad. The way Selena "I love illegals" Gomez speaks annoys me but it is what it is. It has what seems like a unlimited amount of random cameos from different celebs which makes it fun to watch...

Watched the first two episodes of this tonight. Not terrible so far. Episodes are like 30 minutes so you don't get bogged down in it.
Speaking of neighbors. Friends and Neighbors the show with Madmen guy is looking to try and be the douchey version of Breaking Bad.
How is the fat POC chick? In the trailer, she seemed like she was gonna be the typical, loud-mouthed, insufferable pain in the ass, constantly emasculating Kevin Bacon. That's the main reason I ended up not giving it a shot.
I didn’t find her that annoying. She’s basically his supervisor and works for Lucifer, so her demeaning nature is understandable. Maybe I’m just desensitized to it, but I didn’t see her as “emasculating”, other than having a bitch for a boss is such to any manly man.
