Buford Pusser Killed His Wife

If I'm remembering correctly, he was always a piece of shit. I grew up in East Tennessee, but knew folks from all over the state and a few of them had family in that area during his time. None of them were fans of his. They took a bunch of "creative liberties" with his story and the movie.

While I do not condone him killing his wife, I have to admit that shooting himself in the face multiple times and almost blowing off his jaw to cover it up was hardcore.

"If you let them do this to me and get away with it, THEN YOU'RE GIVING THEM THE ETERNAL RIGHT TO DO THE SAME DAMN THING TO ANY ONE OF YOU!"

Did they make him into the hero for the movie? I haven't seen either one.

of course, watch it, it's great just for knoxville and the sweet f150, I have been thinking for years about building one just like it
