Can anyone name this movie?

My cousin watched this movie in the mid-2000's, and we are trying to figure out what it was.

He said it was recent at the time and it involved a father working construction on a house. His son showed up at the worksite and later got banged for money by an older dude in his Porsche. He got kind of roughed up by the John in the process. The son was kind of pale and emo-looking.

Thanks. Yeah, it doesn't ring a bell to me either, but he remembers it distinctly and says he's always tried to figure out that it was. I've had movies like that be in my head for years, usually one that had a particularly intense moment. I'm sure seeing a guy get railed was traumatizing for him.

this is what i was thining as soon as u said the word house. cant recall the part about the porsche .but it definitely involves a father and an emo son. and the movie is phenomenal..

I hated that movie.

Not because it wasn't good. It was great.

But without spoiling for those that haven't seen it, my father was going through very similar circumstances. It way too close to home.

That movie is really good. My dad was battling cancer a few years before the movie came out, I was of course a total peckerhead at the time but I grew up a lot. The movie reminded me a little of our relationship other than being an emo faggot and other faggot stuff.
