A guy, who's banned from owning firearms, illegally bought a bunch of guns. Dressed up as a police officer, in his police officer clone car, and then went about executing a hit list. This is the justification for banning firearms he didn't use.

regardless of all that, the scary gun ban is a load of bullshit...loosely populated areas with tons of nature and wilderness are the places where people should be allowed to have all manner of firearms IMO
I respectfully disagree. I spend more time in the nature and wilderness that you speak of than most of the people I know who live in rural areas.

I don't know canada at all...I just feel like it should still be in the Wild West Frontier phase, with less laws and restrictions...sadly it appears it is becoming/has become the opposite.
In my mind it is mostly rural and large areas of wilderness nearby and in between population centers...I am sure that is not exactly the case...I haven't crossed that border since the 90s and I actually only went to population centers
