I saw it happen on the big screen. First before they swing across together in the first movie, then when he was in the med bay in The Empire Strikes Back. Unless you mean Chewie's hairy butt, that I guess is a matter of relative perspective. It is hairy in comparison to most people, not so much in comparison with something like Serbian women.
