Now I'm more inclined to think it's an elaborate Andy Kaufmann-esque prank most everyone but you and me are in on.
Like I said, I think it's just channels trying to increase traffic.

Given that people can get these inaginary tingly feelings from literally anything, I've noticed that ASMR is appearing all over Youtube.

I'm sure that if you check out any topic and search through the videos for long enough, you'll find an ASMR one somewhere.

The chiropractor account deleted the video but I grabbed the screenshots. A man had a heart attack on an airplane and a chiropractor ran over and actually cracked the guy's neck trying to save him.

They were so proud they posted about it.
