No, I'm suggesting that Conor, the highest paid of all UFC fighters is getting plenty of money from the org and to say otherwise is just silly. When talking about fighter pay issues in the UFC, bringing up Conor isn't really going to do the argument any favors. Are you trying to claim the UFC pay fighters their worth?
Conor, when fighting for the UFC inside a cage has never been paid what he's actually worth. He's also the highest paid fighter on the UFC roster, as well as a statistical outlier. No, I'm suggesting that Conor, the highest paid of all UFC fighters is getting plenty of money from the org and to say otherwise is just silly. Canelo's base pay was 5m and Golovkin's was 3m for their last fight. I think Conor made 3m (guaranteed purse) for UFC 202 so I don't think he's that far off.Conor, when fighting for the UFC inside a cage has never been paid what he's actually worth. How much is the Gennady Golovkin vs Canelo Alvarez prize money and what is the fight purse?Canelo's base pay was 5m and Golovkin's was 3m for their last fight. I think Conor made 3m (guaranteed purse) for UFC 202 so I don't think he's that far off.
So cry me a river if you don't think Conor is making "what he's worth".
You can speculate PPV buys etc but I'm going on guaranteed base pay. Conor sells more than a million PPV's as well and of course he's getting points on his fights so again, he's getting paid well and isn't a great example to argue the fact that the UFC isn't paying their fighters well enough. Which of course I agree with. I just don't think Conor should be included in that argument. How much is the Gennady Golovkin vs Canelo Alvarez prize money and what is the fight purse?
Golovkin and Alvarez will both earn a record amount from the fight, with Canelo and GGG guaranteed $20m and $15m respectively.
How much could each fighter earn?
But the total sum each fighter will earn will depend on how many people purchase the fight to watch on television. If, as expected, the event does 1.5 million views then the two fighters will double their money. Overall estimates suggest Canelo could earn $50million and $33million for Golovkin.

I'm a fighter fan, not a fan of Dana's bank account.Canelo's base pay was 5m and Golovkin's was 3m for their last fight. I think Conor made 3m (guaranteed purse) for UFC 202 so I don't think he's that far off.

Conor is the most underpaid fighter in the UFC based on the revenue he brings in.You can speculate PPV buys etc but I'm going on guaranteed base pay.
