You are right in that sense but some of us just like how the guy fights and were looking forward to his next one. The thing is with nuthuggers, they are bandwagon jumpers and we loathe them but let's not paint everyone with that brush.

you cant deny the guy is a great fighter.just not as great as he was made out to be.no one is that great.there is nothing wrong with being a fan of anyone.things just got waaaay out of control with talk of being a 3 division champ and the dupes just ate it all up.the nut huggers worked themselves into a frenzy but disappeared as soon as conor tapped.the true fans are still here win or lose.

I agree with you completely. So, seeing as they are gone (and good riddance to them, I say), let us cease in addressing them.

Honestly soon no one will give a shit about Conor.

Remember a long time ago I said Conor will lose 3 in a row. So far he has 1 and will lose again to Diaz and then again to Frankie.

shame he didn't care much about it in the buildup to the Diaz fight, and let it show in his performance, plus those insulting comments about Nate teaching kids BJJ etc were lame as fuck, especially in hindsight.

and now he says no one cares about him fighting Edgar or Aldo, only Diaz, when the fans have been very vocal about the stupidity of the rematch and it being at 170. Yeah it was a crazy fight and most of us will enjoy the rematch too, but let's not kid ourselves, all this stuff has managed to shit on 3 divisions

Maybe McGregor is going to leave the UFC if he doesn't get his way. I wonder if Conor has enough $$$ to start his own promotion as a fighter/promoter following the likes of sefo, mayweather jr.

This Conor vs UFC feels like it'll be long-going feud. Seem like neither side will give in since situation is already like this.

even if mcgregor loses his next 2 fights he still is a pioneer in the sport imo. he brought the chael sonnen shittalk and backed it up till he got the title.

im not sure how you can name him as a pioneer, he did some things to hopefully change it but he wasnt there to create and mold it. Sorry pioneer is a bit of a stretch

If Conor is so fit to be tied to fight Diaz, then the UFC should offer him either be stripped of the title and fight Diaz at 201 or Fight either Aldo/Edger at 201 for the title. If he choose to drop title then he can attempt to get it back as Jones is doing.

The diaz bros have been doing it forever.Chael backed it up early on then took some losses.his nuthuggers jumped off the bandwagon too.conor is not the first guy to come in looking like the next big thing while climbing the ranks only to get exposed when they get to the top.

the difference is Conor made it to the top. he became the undisputed FW champ and none of those other guys held a ufc belt.
