Regulation is coming from the Mohegan Sun guy, not locals.
Thats for America though, isn't it? He could still be banned by the Irish Commission - it wouldn't be a worldwide thing, it would only apply to Ireland.

Although I suppose he could be banned by other commissions as well

Do you know if NAC, CSAC, or NYSAC work in cooperation with the Mohegan Sun commission?

I know I've never seen MSC have someone fail a drug test and have a suspension so I don't know how the relationship works.

Mohegan Sun is a casino on reservation land in Connecticut. The commissioner for them is often hired to regulate events in places with no local commission, or no local commission that regulates mma anyway, I guess.

That is for America but typically only the commission in charge of an event can sanction someone from the event.

Other commissions typically then honor that sanction.

NSAC TO HONOR BARONI'S SUSPENSION

It appears that unless Attempts by Phil Baroni to appeal are upheld, the Nevada State Athletic Commission will honor the one-year suspension levied by the Department of Athletic Regulations for the Mohegan Sun for punching referee Larry Landless . In a conversation with NSAC Executive Director Marc Ratner, Ratner stated: "I have spoken with the Mohegan Sun and as the NSAC wishes other states and governing bodies to honor our rulings, we will honor this one." What this means is that, if Baroni's Suspension is upheld, he will not be eligible to get a license to fight in the state of Nevada or at any event under the NSAC's regulations until November of 2004.

When Also asked about the situation That transpired after the Cabbage Correira / Tank Abbott fight, Ratner responded, "If suspension are handed out to any of the cornermen Involved, the NSAC will females Those as well." So It appears that When a ruling ( if any) comes down from the Mohegan Sun regarding the post-fight festivities of that bout, those involved will face the same situation as Baroni.

The UFC is expected to fully cooperate with any finalized rulings made by either governing body.

The reputable Commissions usually honour suspensions, but not all Commissions. For example if Conor were to be banned (not happening I know), he could still fight in the likes Japan.

Definitely agree to that.

MHC just doesn't seem to hand out penalities very often.

The fact that the Pres of the ABC is also involved makes it more likely that he'll get some sort of a slap on the wrist.

How often will Bellator air the footage of him climbing in the cage? Business just picked up for ole Scott Coker.

Roy Nelson got 9 months for gently kicking Big John. Lets see what Conor gets for invading a cage and pushing a ref.

However, after a quick look in my crystal ball - "fook all".

Conor's story is shaping up to be a nice episode of ESPN's 30 for 30 someday.

He might as well go ahead and let the wheels fly all the way off of the wagon.

Drunk? High?

Could he get a ban for this? I'm unsure whether this would affect participation at UFC?
