Relevant's definition is fairly specific where informative's is expansive. If I wrote an article titled "Conor McGregor will beat Floyd Mayweather" and then filled that article with excerpts from the dictionary it would be extremely informative, but not at all relevant. When the story is about a cop shooting a guy, knowing that the cop is still in hospital due to sustained injuries and that the third individual is being charged with attempted premeditated murder seems more relevant to what may have happened than details of past cases or completely unbelievable accounts being told by suspects.

he got 10 with 5 suspended, then served about 1/3 of that - idk if that is typical for time off for good behavior or something.

State Police release new information about fatal officer-involved shooting near Mamou

  • At approximately 04:10 a.m., the Deputy was dispatched to a reported theft of an ATV and subsequently cleared that call.
  • Upon resuming patrol and still within the nearby area, the Deputy made a traffic stop on a 4-wheeler (ATV) on Retton School Rd @ Chad Ln.
  • The Deputy made contact with the driver of the ATV (Dejuan Guillory, B/M, 27 yoa), and his passenger (Dequince Brown, B/F, 21 yoa).
  • The Deputy asked Guillory and Brown for legal identification, which neither possessed.
  • During this initial interaction, Guillory struck the Deputy in the head, knocking him to the ground, dazing him with a possible loss of consciousness.
  • The Deputy was able to rise to his feet, draw his firearm and gave verbal commands for Guillory to lie on the ground.
  • Guillory laid down on his stomach and the Deputy attempted to handcuff Guillory.
  • During handcuffing, a struggle ensued.
  • Brown approached the Deputy from behind and began to choke and bite him.
  • During the struggle with Guillory and Brown, the Deputy shot Guillory with his duty weapon.
  • The Deputy returned to his unit and called for assistance.

If dash cam supports that, it's clear cut self-defense.

if you look at this guy's facebook page he has pictures and video of him out at night after hunting rabbits, teaching his young son how to skin them, teaching him to fish... no mention of frogging that i could find but many pictures of cooked frog's legs. interesting.

ok cool, i guess i did miss it then. it does show that this guy would be out doing all sorts of nature stuff at night on a regular basis.

still he said/she said until something concrete comes out tho i guess, hopefully the dashcam brings some clarity.

Still, someone was committing a crime on an ATV and he happens to be in the area at that time on an ATV.
