I think I ate similar stuff my gf brought me from Indonesia, it was peanuts with a corn batter around it, was quite addictive and spicy.

I am not a big fan of Corn Nuts. They're too hard, feels like I'm going to break a tooth. The flavor is good, just don't like the hardness.
I don't think I've ever tried Spam, but I've seen pictures of Spam on buns made up like a burger and damn if it didn't look tasty as hell. I grew up with mainstays like beanie weenie too (cut up hot dogs in baked beans)
